I wish the game creators had been more creative with Splash. Like, maybe it didn't work on land but it actually had an attack level of 90 in water or in rain...? Random idea.

Splash isn`t pointless. Without it, the fisherman trainers will be screwed because they couldn`t do nothing on that turn. (You can`t run from a pokébattle, using an item wastes that item, some of them only have one magikarp and no other pokémon, and they can`t fight cause magikarps are supposed to be useless.)

Anyway, to me, any stat changing move is pointless. I always get rid of those for a new move.

Pokemon isn't all about brute strength, y'know. Let's say for example that you have a Tauros on the field when I throw my Salamence at you. You get intimidated and assume (correctly) that the Tauros won't be able to handle Mence, so you switch to your Glaceon. That should scare him off. But during your switch, Mence used Dragon Dance. Now, it hits almost twice as hard and is almost twice as fast as it used to be. One Outrage from him (you really have almost no chance of outrunning it after a Dragon Dance) and Glaceon is dead (Outrage+STAB+1 from Salamence will OHKO anything that doesn't resist it...and some things that do.) Ta-da. Salamence now sweeps your whole team. How do you feel about Stat changesr now?

I just don't handle the stat changers correctly. No, seriously, when I first played my 1st pokemon game, I tried them out and screwed myself. So I developed a strategy using the attack moves only. I'm not all for brute strength by the way. I care about the pokemon too, so I'll likely have a lot of each potion to heal(like with the moves, I don't use the stat-changing items much)them. Plus, what makes you think Glaceon is the only thing I'll have handy? My username? Seriously, I'll have something else too, and if I don't, that obviously means I believe in my Glaceon greatly, which means it will be at a very high level.

Nothing makes me think Glaceon's the only thing you'll have handy. I was just using it as an example, like I used Tauros and Salamence as examples

How? You can KO one opponent's pokemon with reqular atatcks, and KO the second with Explosion when you are low on health. Kill two birds with one stone.

The sports are designed for double battles. Of course, it's pointless for that lone, low-level Geodude to use against my Grass-type...

Cause suicide is painless, it brings on many changes...

Or if shit hits the fan and you can't take out the first pokemon through conventional means....BOOM!

Bounce seems useless to me. It's pretty much Fly.

    Made by me.

When you run out of moves, your Pokemon uses Struggle. Struggle does damage. Struggle > Splash

Agility. I mean seriously, Psychic? What's so psychic about relaxing your muscles? It should be Normal or Fighting.
