    Default Anyone Use Different Legendary Group Names?

    What the title says. Do you use different names for the different groups of legendary Pokemon that no one else uses?

    I refer to Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres as the Season Trio. Since the three are supposedly based off of winter, spring, and summer, respectively. I also refer to Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf as the Lake Trio as opposed to the Pixie Trio.

    How are the birds based on seasons, especially when there are 4 seasons

    Personally, I also count Lugia and Ho-Oh as Legendary Birds. Yet bulbapedia has them on their own.

    Cobalon, Virizion and Terrakion are known as the Muskateers, but I prefer Muskadeers.

    Articuno = Winter
    Moltres = Summer
    Zapdos = ??? CANNOT COMPREHEND

    I always call the Regis "the braille monsters/titans" since that's what they are and you need to know it to catch them. <_<'

    And I call Deoxys and Jirachi "unseen space creatures", for the same reason... I know that shouldn't count, but they're both unobtainables in Hoenn.
    Seriously? Seriously? Seriously? Seriously?

    That's fixed for political correctness.

    I call Kyurem-Zekrom-Reshiram the Balance Trio, not the "Plasma Trio" or something.

    Personally, I hate "Muskadeers". I call them "Muskateers". Terrakion isn't a deer.

    While one could make the case for "legendary cats" on the grounds that Suicune may be partially inspired by a leopard, its main inspiration seems to be the qilin. So I have to side with Bulbapedia on this one and just call them "legendary beasts". Although "cats" is certainly more appropriate than the annoyingly popular "dogs". To this day I have no idea where the term "legendary dogs" even came from. Entei has some features of dogs, sure. I've seen people claim that Suicune is a wolf, but that's about as retarded as calling Arceus a goat. And Raikou... it's a fucking saber-tooth tiger. What exactly about Raikou sceams "DOG!" to anyone is beyond me. Some people...

    Also, I was going to complain about Bulbapedia's use of the term "raijin trio" (as only Voltolos was a raijin), but I just noticed they changed it to "kami trio", as well as using "creation trio" and "tao trio" for the Sinnoh and Unova dragon trios respectively. Thank you, whoever came up with those.

    Also, I hate to be that guy, but an unusually large number of people seem to be unaware of this fact: it's "Musketeer" with an "e". Y'know, as in "musket"?

    I hate the name "Plasma Trio" for ReshZeKyu. I like "Balance Trio".

    And sure, Terrakion isn't a deer but Cobalon and Virizion look like deer, and Keldeo is a horse, which is similar, and Musketeer trio sounds bland. As for the beast argument:
    Dogs: Raikou is arguably a tiger.
    Cats: Entei.
    Gerbils: I hate the degree Political Correctness is at now.
    There's always one outlier.

    Well, if you think about it, it makes sense. Zapdos is based off spring, which is known for its thunderstorms in some areas. Moltres goes to summer, which is known for blisteringly hot temperatures. And the connection between Articuno and winter is blatantly obvious.

    RaiEntSui are the "Ementenal Cats" for me. Why everyone calls them dogs are beyond me as well. GroKygRaz are the "Shifting Climent Trio." They all have the power to change, or shift, climent. Groundon can make more land, Kygore can make more seas, and I believe Razquaza can summon terrible storms, or use beams to damage land greatly.

    Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are simply the Legendary Birds to me. I don't get the whole "Season Trio" thing. There's only three birds, and in some areas thunderstorms appear more often in the summer.

    Entei, Raikou, and Suicune are the Legendary Beasts or Legendary Dogs to me. Suicune and Entei, to me, look like they were obviously based off some sort of canine. Suicune has a snout that's shaped like that of a wolf's and Entei's paws look like that of a dog's. Raikou is the oddball as it seems heavily influenced by a saber-toothed tiger.

    Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are the Legendary Golems to me since...they're golems.

    I like to use the Lake Trio for Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit since the the other term didn't really stick with me that well.

    Then the obvious Kami Trio for Tornelos, Voltolos, and Landlos and the Musketeer Trio for Cobalon, Terrakion, and Virizion. "Muskedeers" sounds godawful...

    Then the Legendary Johto Birds for Lugia and Ho-oh, the Weather Trio for Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, and the Dragon Trio for Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina. And I use the Energy Trio for Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem.

    Gerbil is PC! Really!

    Muskateers comes from the book The Three Muskateers, a novel set in the time when Cardinal Richelieu held control over France with an iron grip, or something like that- I haven't actually read the book yet. In the book, there are three Muskateers, along with their companion, who aren't actual musketeers, per say, and instead use swords to fight the Cardinal on behalf of the King. THE MORE YOU KNOW!

    Kyurem, according to Bulbapedia, represents the absence of balance, or the absence of nature and technology- someplace like the lifeless frozen plains of Antarctica. The lack of heat or electricity is thus lack of heat, which in Pokémon equates to the Ice-type. Or something.
