"Misty Meets Her Match," definately. Before that episode, I hadn't really given any thought about PS. MMHM was what made me fall in love with the 'Ship.

PokeShipping is not really canon, though I would like to believe so. However, I strongly believe and support this ship. PokeShipping, as far as I'm concerned, has the most solid hints. That's true, but Ash has never had a similar relationship with any other female character so far. He's kind and encouraging to his other female companions, but when it comes to Misty it's a love/hate thing, and that normally is always a sure sign of having feelings for someone. Even Nurse Joy and Tracey said so.

I agree. I think that Misty and Ash had a different type of relationship than any other girl on the show. Perhaps it's just a change in direction of the show, but Ash doesn't have many "conversational" moments. Most of the dialogue with other girls is "Pokemon, believe in yourself, we can win together" blah blah. With Misty there are more flirty/conversational/humorous dialogue between the two.

Well, I consider the most canon ship to be May/Drew. By 'canon' I mean hints and the like, not actual confirmation. So from that standpoint, of the main Ash ships, Ash/Misty is the most canon.

EDIT: And I think there are some solid hints from Ash's side as well. GCYL, the pedo gym leader episode, Pokeball Peril, the Navel Island episode, and that Festival in Kanto all come to mind (forgot the name).

I totally agread..Ash and Misty got the Most canon and most believable HINTS!!..Both Ash and Misty have shown their realistic to each other..and it makes a good ''chemistry'' for both of them whenever they go..''Gotta Catch Ya later''is the one who...EXPLAINS IT..(too)...

Kind of a weird question, honestly, but I'll roll with it. I agree that Lugia would probably approve. I also think Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi and Latias could sense the bond between Ash and Misty so they would probably approve as well. I'd even go so far as to speculate that Mesprit and Suicune would approve as well.

The reasoning behind my selections? Watching the show or playing the games leads me to believe they all can sense a person's feelings, if not see their true intentions, so Misty's crush would be obvious to them and perhaps they'd see what Ash might be feeling deep down and hasn't realized yet.

@Cerberus: This topic is due to the fact that I think that the legendaries might be crazy enough to attempt to pair off humans.

Personally, I think that Mewtwo or Mew would know, but Mewtwo probably would not care. Darkrai would just use it to his advantage (MD2 Darkrai) and would support it. Lugia would because I see him as the most likely legendary, having met them in the shippiest of all the movies. Dialga might not care, but Mespirit would approve (and according to a fanfiction I read, Azelf and Uxie too). I have also always seen Kyogre as an early shipper of this, but this based purely on fanon.

I pretty much agree with what has been said already on this topic:

Mew and Mewtwo (especially after the events of the first movie)
Lugia (and probably the bird trio as well) due to P2K
Cresselia
Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie (they are the 3 beings of emotion, after all)
Manaphy (it can sense what is in the heart, right?)

I think that pretty much any legendary that has come into contact with both Ash and Misty (especially those in the first 5 movies) would approve of them and any other legendary that has some kind of "sixth sense" and can sense what is in their hearts and/or minds (even if the person himself (Ash) doesn't know it), then they would approve of the two being together. That's just my opinion, but I really believe it.

Lugia (Starred in the most Shippy movie of all time.)
Mewtwo (A psychic master. He can read their minds and like what he sees)
Manaphy (Heart sensing stuff? right?)

I can see Mew, Celebi and Manaphy approving of Ash and Misty together. Mainly for reasons other people have already stated. But yeah, I can definitely see them loving the idea of Pokeshipping. XD

Mew and Lugia. Both are legendaries from Movie First and Pokemon 2000 with pokeshipping hints. They always reminds me about pokeshipping.
