I don't believe Ash will ever leave the series, he's the main character and named after Satoshi Tajiri after all... :P But if he does...

There have been lots of speculations that Ash will be replaced after Sinnoh but I don't believe in that. They are just fan's own speculations and rumours. I think he would take a short break before heading to Isshu region and there would be short spin-off series (like Pokémon Chronicles) with new different characters :) That would be kinda nice, I think.

I don't think any shipping will become canon. But if they did that, then it should absolutely be Pokeshipping <3

I feel like the writers of the show know that they have a huge fan base of millions of shippings and if they catered to just one of them, there would probably be a huge uproar of resistance (fans can be crazy sometimes). Of course i wold LOVE it if PokeShipping became canon but as long as none of the other Ash shippings become canon either, then I'd be okay. It would probably be a good move on the writers part to keep the story open to interpretation and is a way of always keeping their fan base tied to the series even after it ends. (Wouldn't you rather no shipping became canon than one that you don't support?)

Hello, Pokeshippers! I feel terrible for intruding like this. I'm not really a pokeshipper, but I do think it's adorable, and the hints are pretty glaringly obvious XD

Um, I have a question. Does anyone know any episodes with visual pokeshipping scenes? This is for an AMV I'm making (I don't need diologue, if it looks pokeshipping, I'll take it XD) I'm sorry if it's been posted before, but this is a looooong thread.

Oh come on, people should've noticed there are Pokeshipping hints that are so obvious, they shouldn't make a big deal out of it if Pokeshipping becomes canon. =.=

Yeah. I mean, obviously no ship is ever gonna become TRULY canon, but Pokeshipping is canon enough just because of all the hints. :D

Oh, and I get all warm and fuzzy every time I look at that screenshot with Ash and Misty sleeping against each other. So adorable. <3

I would, but at the same time, I think that PokeShipping Is the logical way to go and I think even the writers would be aware of that. Just because Misty was his first real traveling friend, and there were so many sweet hints (first childhood crush thing) It's the most romantic choice, plus the other females already have potential love interests, which Is something Misty doesn't have aside from Ash (not counting Georgio because that was a one time thing)

It's not like the writers are afraid of backlash from the fanbase otherwise they wouldn't keep introducing new girls to switch out the old ones.

I'd die if it became canon, but you're right, there's enough episodes and hints to have already confirmed it on a certain level. The only thing that stopped the writers was the game promotion. OI was a huge indication that, if it were its own show, then a relationship would have developed.

So yeah,....a longer answer than I predicted :P

ya!I would really like to see Pokeshipping becoming a canon..it's too close..but hoping it will.I also like too see more episode and hints together with Ash and Misty and Misty's return in the series too..^^

Pokeshipping is already extremely obvious enough as it is. 8D Making it canon, as in, Ash and Misty being an actual couple on the show, is really just the next step.
