To be entirely honest, I never really cared for Pokeshipping, or any other shipping (I was always the type to lurk forums and laugh at the shipping wars).

However, I guess I fell into this mentality as I was playing HG and I found Misty at Cerulean Cape with ANOTHER GUY who was obviously not Red (and before I comment any further, I know that Ash is based upon Red and they are not the same thing but in my opinion and my opinion only, the differences don't really matter to me). So I decided to look up who this piece of nameless blasphemy was. And then it turns out that I realized, hey, Ash and Misty really do look good as a couple (I never did find out who the NPC was). And here I am, becoming what I once laughed at. Ah, irony.

And generally, Misty appealed to me most out of all the main female cast because she was the first one introduced to my generation, back when we were still in elementary/middle school. The others just don't have that something that I can't really describe that she does with Ash.

Nope. Love at first sight would be like Ash saying to Misty in episode 1, "Oh wow, I'm gonna be torn apart by a flock of pissed Spearow but it's totally worth it cause you'll be the last thing I see besides my blood/guts and a bunch of beaks and talons".

I see it more of a gradual thing. People have pointed out the differences, such as the families of the two not really having any conflicts with each other and whatnot. I'd tack on more reasons but I'm sure they've been all stated already.

My favourite is Gotta Catch Ya Later! - reason is obvious. But close in second place is Misty Meets Her Match! because Misty showed whom she really love.

This is the best and the most memorable Pokeshipping episode..[though I have lots of favorite Pokeshipping momments]..
this is the part I like most,where Ash and Misty had promises..
It made me cry when Misty has to part from Ash,though,it makes Pokemon episode memorable,

I really like Misty meets her Match and Dueling Heroes,..they're all great..

PokeShipping has always been the ship most close to my heart. Mostly because it's pretty much canon from Misty's side. It's the most probable ship (Only beating morpheusshipping because Ash has known Misty for much longer and a desire is more likely). Plus it's so godamn Hot and Cute at the Same Time! Thats something I can't seem t find in either of the other two main Ash Ships (Pearl and Advance).

Just thought i'd get that of my chest.

yeah...Believe it or not..
Pokeshipping make the best Pokemon episodes..and there are things that you can't find on other shipping besides it's only there in Pokeshiping..

Really not XD It's not an easy love, but Delia would be so happy to see Misty as Ash's girlfriend and she loves her like her own daughter. In Romeo and Juliet the families of the two lived in war. So - really not XD°

Kind of unusual, but I loved that DP episode with the lure. I just screamed to me... "MISTY IS NOT DEAD!!!!" Although I love the old hints to death, this, for me, breathed life back into Misty and proved that the writers didn't completely forget about Misty. =) And plus, the way Ash defended that lure was adorable! XD

Ah. The Lure-that wonderous little Lure that, to some, on it's own, completely restored faith in PokeShipping. Eh....it is....odd...how such a small little instrument-can bring hope back to so many.

The smallest little....details...give rise the largest and most glorious movements. Heh.
