A Date with Delcatty would be the most prevalent one, the one where the guy asks Misty on a date and she denies him on the grounds that there's someone else. I think I've heard you voice doubts on that one before, though. I don't personally think it's likely to be an Orangeshipping hint. I think that given their past histories, it's far more likely that she's talking about Ash. And even if we have no idea who she's talking about, at least we know she likes someone as opposed to no one, making Pokeshipping (but also everything else involving Misty) more likely as a consequence.

i hope this doesnt mean she wont visit >_< im probably jumping the gun but this is like a stab to the heart....
they show tracey in it. and they show hikari at least 3 times in the intro. but no misty...no may....no gary...nobody from the past and usually the second intro is where they show characters from the past (like in high touch and spurt). again, im probably overreacting but this is bogus :(

Dawn's getting a regional cameo which is why she's there. Tracey on the other hand is almost always shown with Oak/Delia, which is why he's there. The other characters aren't there because they're probably not appearing.

I am also not sure why you think being in the opening means an appearance. Misty was in the second DP opening yet she didn't appear in any DP episodes. Same with the last Battle Frontier opening on the playing cards, but she didn't appear in any of those late BF episodes either.

True, the openings don't really reflect the season(s) they belong to, but this time round we actually have some evidence to support the fact that Misty might be appearing in BW. I'm referring to the announcement a while back which stated that all of the past games' Gym Leaders (INCLUDING Misty) would be featured in the B2W2 games. Now if that is canonically confirmed, what's to say some of them won't appear in the anime too?

Somehow, I doubt that Misty will actually appear (or Brock for that matter). Think how far away Brock and Misty are from Unova. In order for them to up and leave, they need to have a really good reason and let's face it, simply visiting Ash isn't gonna cut it. Dawn is going to return to compete in a tournament, so she has a reason to return. Cynthia is competing in the World Championship (apparently) so she has a reason to be there. Misty and Brock don't have a reason beyond seeing Ash. There's no Pokemon Breeding Center or specialist for Brock to see (that we've heard of) and there's nothing Water Pokemon-related for Misty to be interested in (simply catching water Pokemon isn't good enough).

Now if there was something Gym Leader related (that involved all Gym leaders, not just those in Unova) like a conference or convention, THEN I could see Brock and Misty (as well as the other Kanto Gym Leaders) making an appearance and maybe Brock and Misty could say hi to Ash while they're there.

Well that's kinda what I was getting at. If a similar situation to the one in B2W2 involving the Gym Leaders from all regions were to be incorporated into the anime somehow, there's every possibly of an appearance from Misty (and Brock, although given his lengthy stay already, Misty is more likely to appear).
I still believe the chances of this happening are very slim, but in all fairness, this is the closest to an appearance that Pokeshippers have had in years, so understandably one must have faith in this slim chance.

wet blanketing again? :P anyway i see wut you're saying but my point was this: if misty were in the intro then the chances of her visiting would just simply be alot higher than with her not being in the intro. because if she was in the intro, that would at least acknowledge her existence.
plus im just more upset at the fact that when we were in other regions, the intros at least alluded to people in ash's life in the past. but now ever since he's gone to Isshu (and this is just how I personally feel) it just seems like all of his friends were forgotten about/written out of the timestream.

It's fine that you want to talk about Misty making a reappearance, but be reminded that this is the Pokeshipping thread so anything you want to say about the matter should be related to the topic.

Oh definitely, in fact he'd probably be more likely to than Iris (claiming he's a 'relationships connoisseur' too, haha).
To quote one of my older posts, he'd probably say something like this:

I have a tiny idea for a fanfic with somewhat PokeShipping. Ash gets transported to the world of FireRed and LeafGreen (the games), and Red goes to the world of the anime. Going to include pokeshipping.

Yeah, the episode right before Johto had a nice moment instigated by Brock. I don't remember any of the dialogue, but Brock was pushing Ash and Misty toward each other. I want to say that it was Brock suggesting that they hug to make up after a fight, but I don't know that for sure.

Haha, I've only seen a few episodes of BW, but that seems pretty dead on for Cilan. I'm gonna go with this as my answer to the topic.
