For instance, I felt the episodes that were situated in the forest brought great general hints, as Ash would be in denial that they were lost in the forest, and refused to show Misty the map, and they would begun to argue over it, with Brock in between them sighing, and it brought out a rather childishly cute and comical atmosphere.

Then again, I'm a sucker for love/hate relationships, that also have rather comical moments.

I think I'd have to agree, considering that nearly the whole Orange Islands season is set in the forest, and yeah like you said, the love-hate relationship really becomes evident since they argue a lot in the episodes where they're travelling between cities.

The only major hint I can think of at the minute that's not in the forest is "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak", and even then it's still quite a rural place.

For me, in the forest. I can imagine it would be great for them to have that kind of place and time to talk or share something about themselves. Another is, not specifically, I'm thinking about Altomare could be a good place. Since that place can be suited for Misty's favorite (the water thing).. well on Ash, probably it'll be great for the two of them.. (I think I'll add later).XD

I was looking for the Sea, as Misty's a maiden of the Sea, and some hints are water-based. In Beauty and the Beach, Ash notcies her feminity for the first time, which provokes Misty to hit him with a Masterball. Also, in the Japanese version of the banned Dratini episode, Misty grows rather apprehensive that Ash is going to dive into the underwater cave without much (or any) oxygen-supply. Ash is rather confident (he says something about the "Good can never..." or something along the lines of that) and when he returns, she's delighted. Also, the special episode of the The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon, Ash takes Misty with him to save Prof. Oak. Probably because she's a Water-type Trainer, but he could have picked others in the gang. They can still swim.

I was glad seeing her again in that 10th anniversary special. I like how their impressions meet each other. Yeah, Ash could have picked [May, Max or Brock].. then again [like what you have said] he is seen with Misty.

I really wish they would've made one of those for the fifteenth anniversary. It would've been so awesome just to have seen everyone again, not to mention all the potential Pokéshipping hints if Dawn and Misty had met.

Agree, I hope the writer would have plan something like that. I would be nice if Dawn and Misty had met and it would be great if Misty will meet Iris and Cilan too. I guess seeing her again with Ash [and others] would be the best thing!XD

Yes, it is a pity that she didn't reappear- it was a pity that May didn't even appear to mark it. Then again, they didn't celebrate the fifth anniversary, either.

I hope Brock tows her along with him when he makes his cameo.

Honestly, I hope to see all the old characters come back, at least Misty, May, and Brock.
I legitly think that the show is only 50% as good without Brock. Even moreso without May or Misty.
As such, note to the writers - BRING THEM BACK!

I hope the same thing here. I'm hoping to see old characters again (I also lovethe new characters though) Either way, I also love to see the bonding of the original trio. It's a nice idea for Brock to have Misty with him to see Ash and co. [or vice versa].

If we could so kindly return to the topic of Pokeshipping and not the wishes of characters returning in general.

Eh, two questions: is Ash at Pallet Town or Unova for this particular topic? If it's Pallet Town, are we suggesting that he came home in time to plan and prepare something for Misty?
