*nohds* Although Ash is qiute clueless about love, They shown care and concern to each other. That's how I like this shipping. Although it's one sided, I still love how Ash and Misty spent those time in the original series and hoping she'll comeback for him.

In my opinion, "love" is a bit of a strong word, but, yeah, pretty much. Though I would have some difficulty with another Ash or Misty ship became canon. I tend to be one to believe in what is true, but what really is "the truth" when we're talking about fictional characters? I wouldn't stop being a Pokeshipper, but I would have to alter my view of it all, you know. Of course, I highly doubt that I would ever need to do that, being a Pokeshipper and all. But yes, agreed.

Misty definitely loves Ash, I think we'll all agree.
Not so sure about Ash though. It's human nature that girls tend to accept having crushes or being in love a bit more easily than boys - especially boys who are only 10 years old (although really he should be about 25 now). I think that because he's still only ten, he doesn't realise he loves Misty yet, but there's something in the back of his mind that makes him value her above just being a friend.

And being only ten, there's no chance in hell that he's going to admit to feeling something like that towards her.
Not yet anyway.

So just to sum up:
Misty loves Ash
Ash loves Misty, but doesn't realise it/won't accept it yet.

Of course, this is just my view on it. If pokeshipping became canon tomorrow I'd still be ecstatic, but I'm just thinking of it from a more realistic point of view.

Whether he realizes it or not (and I think on some level he does), there's evidence that the feelings are there and that's what matters to me at the moment.

Yep, and I guess that explains why pokeshipping is so popular. No matter how dense Ash is, he's still managed to show his feelings occasionally, whether it be through jealousy (Navel Maneuvers) or actual admiration (The Ghost of Maiden's Peak), so that's got to give us hope for pokeshipping on Ash's side.

That question is...strange and slightly ridiculous, as Misty already has a gym to look after and unless there was some vacancy at a Water gym in Unova and they asked Misty to fill in, that would never happen.

But for the heck of it, I'll answer anyway. Shocked and secretly happy.

I guess she could've been transferred to Unova by the Elite Four (although that sounds quite farfetched)

Ash would be completely taken by surprise by this, and obviously needless to say he be extremely happy to see her (and perhaps more...)

I think Misty would be happier to see Ash more though. I imagine that being away from someone you love for as long as Misty has been away from Ash is enough to drive anyone insane.

I agree with this. Liking someone and not realizing it or being able to accept it is still liking someone. In all likelihood, Ash doesn't realize it. I don't think he would try to deny his feelings if he realized it. Maybe he would at first, but I think he would be ok with the idea after some thought.

Utter surprise at her not being a Gym Leader in Kanto. But for the sake of the question, happy that he gets to see her. He would probably ask her to join him in his travels and she would probably say no, because of her obligations (but really because of the producers, obviously) or something.
