Somewhere with water, Misty would make sure of this. So Orange Islands seem likely. I feel like they would both realize that the Orange Islands were where their friendship(/feelings) developed the most. It very well may remain a special place to both of them throughout their lives. Imma go with that.

He probably would show Misty off to Rudy, partly as a prize, and partly to tell him (metaphorically), "She's officially mine now, so you can forget about being together with her."

It is very beautiful and romantic town with lots of canals, restaurants and so on. It is perfect place them to spend honeymoon, no doubt of it.

Ok after hearing all that, I am changing my answer.

I completely forgot about Altomare! I've never seen Pokemon Heroes so naturally it didn't occur to me, but I remember Misty saying in the indigo league that she thought France was romantic, and in the Pokemon world, I suppose Altomare is the next best thing.

Well, if there were no France in the Pokemon world, then there wouldn't be anything for Misty to call "French". It wouldn't mean anything to call something "French" if France didn't exist, just like it doesn't mean anything to us to call something "Zorkian". So why not just go to France?

The setting in the movie POkemon Heroes is really perfect for them..speaking of POkemon Heores..I hope the movie focussed more on Ash and Misty,..although it's nice seeing them in the first part of the movie..

If I remember right, Misty's "France"-mention was only in the English dub, there was no such a thing in the original Japanese ^^;

Ah, yeah, I forgot about that.

Still, we know that Misty is definitely a romantic, and she'd definitely want to spend her honeymoon in a romantic place by the water - just like Altomare.

I imagine they'd get a pretty big surprise when they got there and realised there were no pokemon there. They'd have to paint Pikachu brown and put him on a lead just to blend in

I think Ash would forgo the blending in and attempt to bring the gospel of Pokemon to the deprived French populace.

If Pokeshipping were to become one-sided canon, from whose side would you prefer it be?

I'd have to say Ash, because hints from his side are a lot more rare, and if it were to become one-sided canon from his side, it'd be a hell lot more effective than from Misty's side.

Plus, we all know it's practically canon on Misty's side anyway haha

Ash, duh! I'd love to see how he acts when he's the one hopelessly in love and doesn't know if Misty feels the same.

It's ok in Misty's side,but wouldn't it be more romantic and amazing on Ash's side?I think it'll brings a lot of affection on Misty:)
