To a certain extent, you're right. But when the show contradicts itself on a certain aspect of canon, such as whether or not characters age, I no longer regard any statement about that particular aspect as having validity.

I don't like it either, but a general rule of thumb for this sort of thing is that more recent canon takes precedence over any other. So, he is still ten, as silly as that is. It was the latest mention of his age.

Still, we can just disregard it, and how does it interfere with Shipping?

It doesn't affect us at all, I was just explaining my reasoning to another user.

Thanks for clearing that up! So, anyways, I was reading a story on the web that said Misty was going to appear in a DP contest but the plan was inevitable scrapped. The lure scene in Buizel Your Way Out Of This was supposed to introduce Misty to little kids who hadn't watched the original series. Anyone else read anything like this?

I have read countless things about Misty going to come back in DP, Misty coming back in BW, e.t.c. Most of them, were obviously made up. Such as that whole thing of a Christmas episode of Ash and Misty kissing under the Mistletoe. Of course, that was fake. I remember searching the internet for hours trying to find a video. I was so gullible then :)

Similarly, I had thought that every track in "2 B.A. Master" was actually in the show, so I kept waiting for the episode with "Misty's Song", among others, but alas, it was not to be.

I know, but it looked so official. And according to some interview Misty was actually going to appear in DP. Why can't they just throw us a bone and give Misty a brief cameo appearance?

Right now, all we have is fanfics, fanpics, and watching old episodes. Good enough for me, for now. Though I'd really just like a mention. A nice, meaningful mention. :]

That's all any pokeshipper really wants ( besides pokeshipping becoming canon). Hey, there's always BW.

At least we know Misty has more returns than May, right? IIRC, she is one of the characters to have appeared on the show the most.

^ True. I think May's only had two, if you count her showing up for Kanto BF.
