I know. It's amazing, how Ash and Misty were such good friends back in the original series and now it's as if she doesn't exist. It's disgusting.

I totally agree with Kayumi. Thanks a lot, someone is the same opinion as me ;__;

I'm so upset about "the new" PKMN.

Edit: Believe it, guys. Misty won't appear ever anymore in the show. She's past. Also May is. Now Dawn gets some guest roles, that's it. And to be honest, I'm kind of HAPPY Misty won't shown anymore there, because they not only changed the characters, now they change the original pokémon style. This is - ARGH. I can't tell how much that hurts an old fan's heart. I can understand, if this is not understandable for you - but for me the "original" pokémon dies latest NOW.
And you really want the "old PKMN back with BW"? Is this thought honestly?! This would mean Iris is the new Misty and you KNOW what THAT means(!!!).

... I'm very disappointed about the reaction in this thread. Sorry for being so hard.

^ Come on, people :l There's so much we don't know about yet! Excluding the new design, it all felt really Kanto-ish! Maybe the writers will surprise us and give Misty an appearance!

Yah! And since Ash hasn't went back to kanto yet, We can still hope for an appearance by Misty! (<lol I keep spamming this) I will never give up until pokemon ends! And even then, i'll hope for some kind of continuation like in cardcaptors where Sakura and Syaoran got together in the end! And after that they had Tsubasa chronicles which has alot their love in it! So I shall never give up, because their are endless possibilities!!!
OMG I'm getting all emotional now.

As shows continue year after year new artist come in and styles change, that's just a fact of life. While I agree that the new shows will probably never be as good ad the originals it doesn't mean they won't be good in their own right. We do know too little to really judge it yet, and it does appear as though they maybe going back to their roots a bit which is a good thing. We'll just have to wait to see.

On a side note: Miya, your stuff on deviantart is phenomenal

^ Actually, I've never really been an "optimistic person" but for some reason it really feels like something very nostalgic could happen in BW ^^' I mean the whole glove-thing and turning hat backwards and the expressions... Maybe that's why I'm so optimistic :D

That's sadly not true. The rumor I heard and the links I posted a few months ago, were fakes. Misty will never get a guestrole in DP. Not a sentence, not a moment, not one word. She defintitly won't be shown in DP. I'm sorry.

I can't follow you. Why are you so pro to BW? please, explain me. What should be so great about BW being the NEW KANTO? - It sounds like, Pokeshipping is nothing to you anymore, more seen as a "test for new BW series, to become perfect".

@Miya, I just meant that since they finally start going back to their roots, maybe they'll have Misty appear too? And more Pokeshipping hints? And more like it used to be? Not like DP, I don't like DP at all...

I too think it might think mean something with the glove and the hat. Maybe they just didnt have the time with DP for Misty, so they're trying to go back a little with the gloves and the backwards hat for our beloved Misty. I want Misty back and I will never give up!!!!!!!!

I think BW would've become something great, if Ash hadn't appeared in the end. as someone said, I would've been happy if he'd have become a rival for one of Iris' friends/rivals. That would've become so awesome!
But now seeing this style, Ash will travel with Iris, this rival/friend of her maybe, too - it of course looks like Kanto, but it hurts I have to read here you really think this COULD become the New Kanto, which would mean, you would forget about the original Kanto. This makes me totally upset and - ANGRY. T__T

I would never forget about the original kanto! Especially with my desktop..... er, anyway the original kanto will always be in my heart. Its a very important part of my childhood and I will never forget it.
