I'll admit that it is kind of cute.

In BW117, when Iris tries to get through the controlled Haxorus, and it responds with Shadow Claw, N jumps and grabs Iris, sending her out of the way. Still holding her slightly, he checks to see if she's alright, and they both get to their feet. So, he has protected her from danger, in a pretty cute moment. :3

Not a shipper, but just to be fair:
