Anyone here supports IronShipping(Tougan/Byron x Gen/Riley) here? I not so recently got into this ship and decided to make a thread for it here!

Let's discuss the awesomeness of this ship!

Who are Gen and Riley?

i quite enjoy ironshipping, though unfortunately there's not all that much in the way of good fanworks. like, i seriously just searched through my entire fanart folder and found one nice pic. one.

It doesn't help that fanart is really hard to find that's NOT from Heerosferret. :(

Did you play diamond? Or, pearl? Its fine you played Platinum as well. Maybe you just watched some videos on youtube.

I quite like this ship, even though I prefer Riley with Roark. I really wish there were more of this ship. Strange thing is, some people consider this pairing crack... Even though Byron actually wanted Riley to be the Orangburgh Leader.

How do you imagine Byron & Riley's relationship?

How do you imagine Byron & Riley's relationship?

I imagine it very intimate on Riley's side and somewhat confusingly awkward but loving from Byron's side. I also imagine that they knew each other for a very long time.

Well, this is quite a story even for me. I imagined Riley to be a fan interested in Byron for a long time. He soon got the guts to actually meet Byron, and started training under him. Riley did hide his ever so growing love for him, leaving Byron completely clueless...

I like the idea of Clueless!Byron too. He seems like the type to have a one track mind and/or be dense sometimes.

His anime persona doesn't help in the one-track mind department. Despite his one-track mind having several tracks.

I've love to hear why anyone would think Byron's the aggressor of the relationship.

Going by appearence, he looks like he's the aggressor but personality wise....Riley is clearly the aggressor in this ship.

I personally love redefined gender roles. <3 When the manly-man is being swept away by the less-manly-man, it's more than enough to say, yeah, you're breaking the mold of awesome. And I can't explain why Byron's just so cool for being manly and a cuddle-bear Riley snuggles with content. <3
