Thread: Do you ship Iris and Cilan with any of Ash's older friends?

Do you ship them with any of Ash's older friends? Even though they will likely never meet any of Ash's older friends that doesn't stop people from liking other nevermet ships.

Which ones do you ship them with?

By "friends" do you mean only Travel buddies, or any friends?

Because Cilan/Ritchie would be too cute to scoot.

Nevermetshippings are pretty commonplace in the shipping community, I can't see why not.

I ship Cilan with Paul and Brock, but that shouldn't come as a surprise.

Iris isn't as shippable for me, unfortunately.

For some reason Cilan and Tracey seem like they'd hit it off. lol.

I think that Iris and Misty would have a great time together considering they have the similar tie to thinking that Ash is immature and all.

I ship Cilan with Brock, and Iris with Misty and Barry.

I would honestly laugh if Iris ended up developing a crush on Ash similar to the way Misty did early on. It honestly wouldn't surprise me given their similarities personality wise. Just would further prove she is a Misty-ish clone.

At any rate, as for the topic. Uhh....I can't really think of one. But Bianca, and Barry would be a highly amusing pair.

aside from the hotness factor, they seem like they'd be very close, even if not romantically, seeing as how they both bare similarities.

What does Iris being a girl have to do with how shippable she is?

Personally I don't find Iris shippable at all because she's rather immature and more of a lone wolf/wild child type. If she did have a shipping, I could only see it with a pokemon, unfortunately.

I don't know much about Cilan to really think of a good ship for him with any of Ash's previous friends. I can see him really admiring Gary because he's a researcher and knows a lot about pokemon, which is something that seems to intrigue Cilan, so maybe something there. Who knows, I need to see more episodes.
