An update happens every two months or so. We're working on making it more periodic than that. 'Ship names are compiled from across the internet at various "pick-up points" and and then it's just one big update. At that point, any conflict and issues with names and couples are worked out to the best possible extent.

Small note: On the list, there's no differentiation between the Nick from Guardian Signs and the Nick from the Chronicles episode. The former seems to be what was intended for SeaSaltShipping (Nick/Summer) and the latter for HealthyCelebiShipping (Nick/Nurse Joy), but someone unfamiliar with the characters and looking through the list would probably assume they were the same person.
