    Yes. From SPPf to BMGf to Livejournal and everything in-between it has come down to four ships;

    Kuipershipping (( Based on the Kuiper belt, a series of comets. Comets are shooting stars, you WISH on shooting stars, the anime series is called best WISHES. Strong contender number one. ))

    Wishfulshipping (( Obvious name is obvious and is not as close to Wishshipping as the original suggestion, Wishesshipping. Strong contender number two. ))

    Negaishipping (( Japanese for best wishes, I believe. ))

    Gambatteshipping (( Japanese for good luck. ))

    I am going to create a poll over on SPPf and on Livejournal with these four (( I am looking at tomorrow, although I can hold back until Friday if you want? )) and I'll probably make said polls last three weeks. Obviously I have no problems with you doing the same over here at BMGf but this time I don't think the poll should be restricted to just here, like it was for Othelloshipping and Chessshipping. Livejournal's pretty much gung-ho for Kuipershipping and SPPf likes Wishfulshipping...

    Three polls, three websites, three weeks. Tally everything when done and the majority winner from the votes of all three sites combined wins.

    ... I see Luna's point about getting the names submitted as soon as possible... but I still have to agree with KK the Prophet on this. I would at least think people should wait for confirmed names.

    That really is not as simple as it says. There are NINE websites/forums/what-have-you wanting to name Ash x Iris. There are probably countless people across the net discussing names with other people on the likes of AIM, MSN, Skype. Even if I told the members of SPPf to cool things until September and Toraphi did with the people here all it will take is for X person from somewhere else to spread around a name like wildfire...

    When it comes to mainstream in Pokemon you, sadly, really have to roll with it. You can slow it down but you'll never stop it. Ash x Iris WILL get a name before September, there's no getting out of it.

    That's fine, but I'm just afraid of polls being stacked. Polling on three means the more likelihood for stacking the poll if users are across either two or all three places. ...Eh. *shrug* I'll hope for fair sportsmanship.

    my vote would probably go to Negaishipping, I think it'd be very fitting. Not only can it mean best wishes but I think "negai" means "wish" in general too?

    As for the poll, what if we make just one poll but link the poll on the main shipper's list site, if that helps? We could also give out the link to the same poll on all of the sites and forums that want to help vote for the name, too?

    Gambatte = ganbatte. It's like how sempai = senpai. Technically, both are correct English spellings.

    Linking the poll is fine, but to vote, you need to be registered on either site.

    Unless there's a site online that'll do free-polling?

    I say the focus should be turned to characters who already exist. As far as I'm concerned, Iris does not exist until the first episode of the Isshu Arc begins, which it has not.

    I still need to know if Morty x Dahlia has a shipping name already and if not, could it be Lyricalshipping?
