Advanceshipping General Discussion

I wish it was that easy. The writers don't have a storyline to follow, so bringing May back would do to the anime something they don't want to happen to a Saturday morning cartoon like Pokemon; it'd give it a story. They'd have to explain why May came back, what her goals in Unova are, etc... Last time I was watching and saw a good enough story, it was the Wallace Cup arc, which I hope isn't the last time we'll see May. I do wish the anime would change the writers back to those they had in season 1-9, because those had some good stories in them, and even better movies. If they are the same writers, it's obvious that when Diamond and Pearl were brought in, the whole mindset changed back to "Okay, lets just produce the same episode every week", which really is sad.

Let's not bash about the current anime, okay? Its actual purpose is to introduce every single Pokemon with a bunch of storyline.

Well, I would love to see May back again, but it seemed that the creators thought that she had done her part, so they moved on.

What if the game creators decide to make a sequel to Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, featuring May as the player character in a new region? The anime would probably be forced to re-introduce May and her story where they left off. Of course, they won't dare to omit Ash, their prized character. And then there might be some AdvanceShipping moments.

And to quote young Masato (Max), "Why is Onee-chan (sister) so happy? It's really fun when Satoshi (Ash) and Onee-chan are together...."

It's a sad truth... There is no story in cartoons any more. Miss the old days when the writers actually had a plot line going. I can't follow the new series, it's too mind-numbing...

I feel like they would sing one of the theme songs from the Advanced Generation. I really hope it would be Advanced Battles. That's just always been my favorite theme beside the first opening.

Me? Personally, I think I've lost my touch in the whole Shipping thing because I don't think Its going to happen at all. But of course, I will always be a fan of AdvanceShipping forever, even though Its never going to happen, but at least we still have those fan fics. Anyways, I don't think I'll have time to look forward to the next Season of Pokemon, plus I haven't caught up to watching Best Wishes because I'm more focused on my other anime than Pokemon. So how are you guys feeling about AdvanceShipping In Its current state?

I've lost most of my interest in shipping in general lately. That's not to say that I don't like the ship anymore, it's just that I don't feel like any ship really is going to happen now. They would've done it before thirteen years were up if they were going to, in my opinion.
