Thread: Who likes Brock?

I don't know how many people in the Pokemon world would want a Brock plushy. Maybe Wilhemina might have one somewhere.
Anyway, this is for all the Brock fans. ^^

It looks like I'm going to be an artist who specializes in plushies. ^^;;;

THAT would be an interesting little anachronism to throw into my fic. Plushies of the main Pokemon stars! I might just try that!

I inspired something. Yay me!

And yeah his eyes are low, but that's only because it's a plushy version. So it was done deliberately.
And I'm sure people thought that his eyes couldn't get any worse.

Well, yeah. See, the fic is a satire of almost everything. The games, the show, fanfics, and (of course) Gakishipping. (Not to be confused with Pokeshipping, mind you. I think you know exactly how much I HATE Gakis.) As I have wanted to crack a few jokes about how overmarketed Pokemon is (or just Ash & Co, in this case), this might present an opportunity.

Not to mention the grand finale, as Jack (standard original trainer and the hero of our tale) attempts to survive a war between Breedershippers and Sissyshippers. (Ironically, my two favorite ships; go figure)

Wow. I'll have to get around to reading your fic then. I always enjoy a good satire.
And your not the only one who hates Gakis, you know. ^^

And you're right. Everything is getting a lot easier. I drew Brock a lot faster then the Ash one I did yesterday.

Very nice! I was gonna mention something about the proportions but I guess plushies aren't supposed to be all that proportional anyway. I think the feet could have been a tiny bit smaller though. Good job Togepretty.

And yeah, proportions aren't perfect, first, because I have yet to master that part of drawing, and second, because he's a plushie, and, like you said, aren't supposed to be proportional. ^^
But I kind of agree about the feet. I wanted them to be comically big, to go with the plushie style, but I guess that I might have overdone it a little. ^^;;;

The lineart is the hardest part. It's so time consuming, but I'm glad that the extra time paid off. ^^
And I'm also glad that you like the shading.
I prefer soft shading to cell shading, because it's just blends, and gives a little more depth to the pic. ^^

I'm not a huge Brock fan, but this is cute. I, for one, like the proportions - it looks so much more plushie-like this way! His expression is kind of cute as well, I like his eyebrows looking slightly raised like that, as well as his grin. That expression makes me think he's just seen a pretty girl plushie. XD As always, the shading is really well done. Nice job! ^^
