Thread: Omg I drew stuff! =O

Sketch of my original character, Hikaru Tsuki, in very groovy clothes. The outfit was actually inspired by Jeff Hardy and some stuff I wear every now and then for outings. Done while babysitting tonight, actually. Hmm... Head came out too big....


My first TLK art in quite a while, and I was surprised that it actually came out pretty good, if I do say so myself. Original character, as usual, looking somewhat angsty. Done while watching a movie in my Biology class. ^^

Love them both... I think her head looks just fines... but the clothing folds on the pantlehs kinda contract themselves... ;) Try looking at yourself in a full-length mirror with those kind of pants and studying the folds, or else finding some reference photos in a magazine... I've found it really helps! :) And I'd love to see more TLK art, the archive needs you back!

Great work, I love the shading effects in Hikaru Tsuki cloths. And that lion looks so great. Nice strong evil cat *starts to pet plush baby jaguar*

Overally I love the designs. In the first picture your proportions are a little off but not noticeably. I like it but maybe it would be better if it were a little more clean. Although I have to admit, I don't see many indigo smudges on paper, which is sort of intriguing.
The second picture, well I'm not a TLK artist but since Tigrin wasn't complaining, I won't either. Just to point out, the picture might be a little better if it were cleaner. You have very sketchy, bold lines and then there are those funky colored blotches again.

I'm actually changing Hikaru's design. ^^; She dresses very much like that at parties, yes, but her casual wear is pretty different. She dresses that way for parties mostly for Rem.

I don't see anything wrong with Hikaru's proportions. I really like your drawing style. It's pretty neat. And her outfit it's cool, too.

The lion looks great. The pose is original and I like his expression.
