Thread: Fun and Games Related Chat, Questions and Suggestions

I think it would really mean a lot.

Though Tea in the Garden seemed like a good idea at the time, I think in the end we just created another Chat thread. If you want to post in a steady conversation, thats what the thread in Outside the Box is for.

I think that just changing the name would be a big step in the right direction.

The only reason the thread title was changed was so that the unpleasant situations that we had - although it was more of a coincidence rather than the name issue - would be reduced, and a name change could promote the change.

My view (not anything official, just saying), is that if you're willing to cooperate to make that thread welcome to anyone who wishes to post in it, and it doesn't turn out to be pages of unreadable jdslgjsldkgjlskjglwietji-like posts, I wouldn't mind a name change either.

I think pretty much everyone either supports or is indifferent to the change.

Would having a random images(anime version)be allowed in fun and games or should it just continue as a sole random images thread?

I think what makes the thread so successful is that people never know what kind of image to expect in each and every post. I don't really see the need for an Anime one solely - or any individual type either for that matter.

While that was our view, given the situation, it was best judged that the anime thread moved from LotRS remain as separate in the end.

Please do note that staff will not take action if a user posts anime screenshot/picture in the Random Images, as long as the pictures are fine per the forum rules.

Sounds like a good thread to me provided people don't keep reposting the same GIFs and that they remain appropriate.

To make one would I just post the thread in F&G or would it be up to a mod to do it

Nah, feel free to post it yourself if you want. Just make sure to include something in your post about reposting GIFs and keeping all GIFs forum-suitable.

Also, a new Last Poster Wins thread (or something similar to it) should be up shortly enough for all those curious about it.
