Hi
Verdant Dance: A Leaf-min Deck
I got back into the game after a super long hiatus from the WotC days, and man was I shaken up by how things had changed. Thankfully, I've had some great friends in the game that have got me up to speed, literally. [I'm boggled at how fast the games are compared to the WotC days.]
My deck started as a Mysterious Treasures pre-made theme deck, but it's been overhauled completely. I don't think there are more than 10 original cards from that deck in here anymore. :D
Pokemon
2x Eevee MD-62
1x Eevee RR-59
1x Eevee UD-48
1x Leafeon Lv.X MD-99
1x Leafeon UD-17
1x Leafeon RR-45
1x Espeon UD-81
1x Espeon MD-18
2x Wurmple PL-103
2x Silcoon PL-63
1x Beautifly PL-21
1x Shaymin Lv.X PL-126
2x Shaymin PL-38
1x Grimer UD-50
1x Muk PL-57
1x Bronzor MD-52
1x Unown Q MD-49
1x Uxie LA-43
1x Crobat G PL-47
Trainers/Supporters
3x Bebe's Search
3x Interviewer's Questions
2x Pokemon Communication
2x Switch
2x Dusk Ball
1x Fisherman
1x Engineer's Adjustments
1x Energy Returner
1x Judge
Energy
3x Double Colorless Energy
1x Cyclone Energy
10x Grass Energy
7x Psychic Energy
The deck has done me wonders, but I'm still tweaking. I put the Grimer line in recently, but I think I'm taking it back out for some trainers. I put it in there to combo with UD Leafeon for status effects, but I can never get them together. So I'm thinking it's a waste of space now.
I just added a recently acquired Leafeon Lv.X so I have yet to see how he does, but I'll find out at Citys tomorrow.
My newest strategy is to combo Leafeon Lv.X with Espeon's Sunlight Veil (+20 HP to Eeveelutions) and Shaymin Lv.X's Thankfulness (+40 HP to Grass types) so I can tank Leafeon Lv. X to 170HP.
Verdant Dance does 30 +10 damage per each energy on my side of the field, and using Energy Forcing and Shaymin's Seed Flare plus any draws from Interviewer's Questions, I hope to have a sizable energy pool to exploit for maximum damage.
Assuming I get to pull off the right combos.
