Default New cards that match olde cards

I noticed these 2 cards have fairly similar effects, give or take 2 cards...

do you think it'd be fair to use misty's wrath in a modern deck, just for the sake of antiquity/nostalgia?

and also what other cards are out there that can be substituted or nearly substituted with modern cards?

Professor Juniper is an exact duplicate of Professor Oak. It shouldn't, but it bothers me for some reason.

The present is made possible by the ghosts of the past, and because there is a present, there will be a future. The past, therefore, is where the future begins.
