Thread: Call of Legends pre-release

Just wondering if anyone has been to one of these events.

The promo, Snorlax, really became quite a powerhouse for me once it had powered up on the bench for a couple turns. However, it really came into problems when facing Tangrowth. This powerful Pokemon's second attack, Plow Over, will either paralyse you or banish one of your energy cards. Since Snorlax has to banish one of his OWN energy cards to use Chomp Chomp Clobber, he really ran into a brick wall against such an opponent. (Tangrowth's other attack, Grind, does 20x each energy card attached to it, making it super-powerful at the prerelease!)

The two best pulls I got at this event were SL Ho-oh and SL Suicune (pulled the Suicune after the matches). I thought myself lucky to get 2 SL cards in 8 packs!

Call of Legends is such a crappy set I decided to forgo wasting $25 on a prerelease. Did you pull any Lost World, Lost Remover, or foil energy? Those are the only cards I find interesting in the set.

A couple of lost removers and a foil dark, but that's it from those cards!

As far as CoL goes, you got darn good pulls rarity-wise.
