I'm also a fan of those historical Japanese visual novel-like games, and the art style is similar to those, so I kinda like it xD
According to PokeBeach it will be compatible with 3DS also.

Re: TPC hints at Jump Festa reveal: Pokémon Battle Chess also on pre-order I've noticed a good deal of people here and elsewhere mention how upset they'd be if this wasn't 3DS-compatible, so I just thought I'd mention it was, now that we know for sure.
Looking back, I'm SO glad they announced this, and entire new game, as opposed to Keldeo.

Re: TPC hints at Jump Festa reveal: Pokémon Battle Chess also on pre-order I'm glad it's not R/S remakes (a thing I'm "meh" about anyway), this was honestly surprising. I first heard of this from the Daisuki Club email and thought it was a joke. This game looks interesting though.
Ugh. Eevee. At least it's not Pikachu under the helm of the player character. I notice most of the major characters have Kanto Pokemon as well.
