    Takeshi statue welcomes Kyoto University test-takers: Nibi Gym Leader challenges examinees to battle

    As has become tradition, an imitation of Orita Hikoichi's statue has appeared on Kyoto University's Yoshida South campus. The statue famous for being continually defaced has once again been reincarnated, this year in the form of the Nibi City Gym Leader, Takeshi.

    This sure would be an interesting thing to see. I wonder what the previous statues have been since they change the statue yearly. I just hope that the students have enough respect to not vandalize it.

    I would soooo love to be greeted into my exams by that. It's cool that they also used the old school TM system for this.
