I can only hope the widescreen eps will remain as such. What ep does that start with again?

Te Lonely Snover was the first episode to feature that in Japanese but the dub changed week to week. That won't appear until the second set.

WB site says length 375 minutes, which is closest to 18 episodes. That set would include the first 3 widescreen episodes if that was actually the case.
