Assassins' Creed: Reborn, my newest RP
I love this series of articles about the origins of different Pokemon. It is actually quite interesting seeing as I'm a sucker for Japanese mythology and biology too.
Demons run when a good man goes to war.
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war.
Friendship dies and true love lies.
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war.
Demons run, but count the loss.
The battle's won, but the child is lost.
Nice article, I found it to be very interesting. Also that was quite an epic ending you had there.
Yaaay another one!
Wow, you've gotta love mythology after this! Brongzong is too much of a pain in the neck to break anyway.
Ah! I do love a good folktale or legend and that one simply sang to me~ Great article as per the usual.
"Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it."
-- Narrator, Pokemon: Jirachi Wish Maker
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."
-- Lelouch Lamperouge, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
"Do I have a stamp on my forehead that says, 'The National Spokesperson for the Plight of Black People'? How the hell should I know the black perspective on The Color Purple? That's it, if I don't change classes, I'm gonna hurt this fool. Teachers treat me like I'm some kind of Rosetta stone for African-Americans. What? Black people learn how to read, and we all miraculously come to the same conclusion?"
-- Victoria, Freedom Writers
"N's heart is pure and innocent. But there is nothing more beautiful and terrifying than innocence."
-- Concordia, Pokémon Black/White 2
I love these articles. This one was one of my favorites, nice research.
This was a fun read. Considering how well researched this stuff is, I wonder if the actual species articles can actually link to them in their article, even at least in the trivia section. As far as I can tell, the origin sections in the articles themselves are just fans guessing.
That was a pretty creepy legend. Why would breaking the bell supposedly make the person who broke it rich? And furthermore, why was she so attached to a mirror? Either way, this gives me chills.
What an interesting read!
If anyone adds my 3DS fcs then pm me.
It's pretty self explanatory. Why was she so attached?
A:"An old proverb said that a mirror was the soul of a woman, and she started to worry that in giving away her precious mirror, she had also given away her soul."
Why would it make the person rich if they broke it?
A: "The locals took this dying promise quite seriously, as the last wishes of anyone dying in anger were thought to possess a mystical power"
It's all right there in the text. It's a superstition. I mean, why would crossing a black cat's path cause bad luck?
Completely off topic, but each time I hear 'Bronzong' I think of "Thong Song" by Sisqo.
Dat Brong brah Brong Brong Brong.

This one was new to me. It was obvious that it was based of a mirror and bell but the legend attached to it was new to me. Very interesting as always.
That was quite informative. I never read that one.
