Thread: Oregon TCG player dies: Terjeson, 16, is alum of world championships

A 16-year-old Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) player from Oregon died in a truck accident Saturday. Cason Preston Terjeson was ranked in the top five players in Oregon and came in 58th at the last world championships.

He was the sweetest guy ever. I hadn't seen him in ages, since I gave up the card game sometime last year, but if I ever went back, I always thought he'd be there.

I'm still in the TCG, but I never met him. I never really went to any of the big events or championships and I don't live around that area, so I never got a chance to meet him. From what I have heard of him, he was a great man and is missed by many.
