The logos are mildly eyesearing; I sincerely hope that they don't do crap like that for future games. That said, the announcement is indeed a very good thing; with any luck, Australia won't have to wait too long for them.
Anyone annoyed how Pusa and their happy go lucky ways are pointing every single thing? Of course graphics will be upgraded. The use of Japanese still irks me though.

I sure was funner back then, possibly even stupider....
The reason the trailer features Japanese gameplay is because the game hasn't been translated yet.
For fuck sakes, what do you people expect when the game hasn't even been released in Japan? (And thus, is unlikely to even go Gold until the end of this month, meaning it's still technically in development).
European and North American versions both at the same quarter, huh? That's actually pretty great! While I'm not sure if that means same month too, meaning just some days later, I guess I may stick with the North American version, considering that Game Corner games will be cut in the European one. And especially for HGSS, they are important. :P
No further comment needed.

My good sir, your profanity has scalded my eyes!
To answer your question, I expect Game Freak to be making the English and Japanese versions at the same time!
Okay, not really, but it seems nice that they're not going to delay the conversation process and get us our share of Gen 2 remake as soon as possible.
(What does going "Gold" mean?)
