    Movie 16 OST announced: OST to be released on July 31

    Sony Music Direct will be releasing original soundtracks from ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens and, Pikachu and Eievui Friends on July 31. The soundtracks will be available in both regular edition and limited edition with DVD.

    It looks like Sony is working with Nintendo to release these OSTs. That is very unusual since Sony makes the PlayStation consoles and therefore Sony is often a rival of Nintendo.

    The Pokemon Company is its own entity and can make decisions independent of Nintendo. While if it was a game soundtrack it would probably be Pikachu Records, these kind of movie soundtracks are usually published by Sony.
