Hopefully not as disappointing as the average Nintendo Direct, which are handed out like candy.
The direct in-and-of-itself is a good idea though.

There must be something happening in the heavens, as an important bit of Yugioh rumor was dropped upon the internet today (805 Light of Judgement: possible cover card is Utopia V.) Between these two I am set.

Is anyone going to be up for the announcement? It will be 6AM for me but I'm hoping to be awake for it.

I'm getting this feeling that whatever it is, this might be something totally unexpected. Not Gen6, not RSE remakes, heck not even spin-offs... but a totally new pokemon product.

It'll be 4am my time, which is actually good, because I get off work at 2:30.

It's hard to judge exactly what this will be because the delivery method is quite unprecedented. A spinoff is still possible if it's something unusual enough. There's a high chance this is something related to Gen VI, but it could be any number of other things. RSE remakes don't seem all that likely at this point, though I wouldn't discount even them.

I'll say one thing, though. Getting news this way beats sitting through Smash's Hitlerian presenters and endless footage of kids messing about in gymnasiums.

Ugghhh... 3 AM PST. If only I had the power to access the internet in my dreams... Oh well I guess I'll be checking first thing i wake up tomorrow before school.
Oh god, this is going to be the most agonizing day of school just by thinking about whatever news will be revealed. T-T

Is there anyone who believes the possibility of Nintendo introducing us to a new Eeveelution? They've been advertising the hell out of Eevee with all the merchandise, Virgil in the anime, the New Years anime special.

I have the strange feeling I'm going to be utterly disappointed with the announcement. Every time something Pokémon-related is announced, it's something I hate or just don't care about like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.

Even if it's not right now, I really have my hopes up for a new Eeveelution. I can't even imagine what the types might be!

I'm predicting some epic 3D WiiU title.

I seriously wish I could just fall asleep already so I can hear the news in the morning, but I can't with all this excitement. This long wait is killing me...
