Actually, Genesect was distributed at level 50 in Japan last time.
They're probably still trying to hold back info about the Shiny Genesect event.

I was hoping this Genesect would be shiny, though they may release a shiny Genesect when the movie is actually released in theatres, or at least Im hopeful they will do so.

I bet they'll do that. It wouldn't make sense to make that Genesect an alternate color that can be seen in the games' files, point out a specific move that it, not any other Genesect, can learn, but not release it.

Extremespeed Genesect will most likely be the Pokémon you get for pre-ordering the ticket to the movie. But I wonder which Pokémon you'll get at the movie theater.

The two possibilities that I can see here:
1) A special Eevee that would be meant to be transferred to Generation VI, where it would evolve into a new Eeveelution. This would be rather redundant as any Eevee would suffice, but the promotional Eevee would at least know a few exclusive moves.
2) A special event in the next spin-off game that would end up unlocking a new Pokémon (the real movie star) in Generation VI. See the Ranger Manaphy mission that was associated with the 2006 movie promotion.
