Nice. Though 40/40 would have been rather nifty too. If I remember correctly, Famitsu DOES hand those out on occasion. Still, three 9s is nothing to complain about for any game.
I wonder what it was that brought it down to an 8 on one reviewer's score...
Cool. It beat Ruby and Sapphier, so that's a good sign. Anyone know what the scores for Red/Green and Gold/Silver were?

Yeah, With a score like this from Famitsu a 35 for a fourth generation itteration is pretty darn decent.
I'm aware they're notorious for harsh ratings.

Bah, Famitsu ratings are nothing, I mean they game FFX and FFXII perfect and near perfect scores and those two games SUCK! I seriously think they are bribed or something, or smoking crack...
A translation of what the four Famitsu reviewers have to say about Diamond and Pearl would have been perfect here. Or a scan of some sort. ;)

Graah, you did NOT just say that FFX and FFXII suck!!!
That makes me mad. I know it's a good score, but the ratings don't really reflect how good the games are. I mean Pokémon is so...I don't know how to explain it. You can't give it a solid number rating and expect it to reflect the actual game. Like how it makes you feel, or how much you are into it. That sounds weird, I know.
Most Pokémon games have recieved a perfect score from me. Ru/Sa scored like a 9 for me. It just didn't have everything I was looking for. Stil kick-ass, nonetheless. Emerald scored like a 9.5 for me. FR/LG were awsome, 10/10, as well as GSC and RBY. And I am extremely picky when it comes to games. Maybe my high ratings reflect my attatchment to Pokémon.
