Hiun Gym Match! Purehearted Bug Pokémon Battle!! will air on Thursday, March 17, instead of the initially planned first part of the two-part episode featuring Rocket-dan and Plasma-dan. The two episodes will air at a later, unknown date according to TV Tokyo.

Likely due to the whole "massive destruction of property" stuff seen in the preview. But they'd better show it! They can't skip this like that filler Barboach episode!

The two episodes will be shown, but we have yet to learn when exactly.

Hopefully it's a promise fulfilled, the last thing we want to happen would be a hole in the story seeing how well the Isshu arc has been going so far.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it... it's simply going to be moved to a different date. The fact that these episodes have important plot points in them proves it.

Although this was something I wasn't expecting, I completely respect the reasons behind it. In all honesty here, I'd be more worried about the disaster itself and the lives affected than a tv show. And whoever decides to throw a massive fit over it is something that I would question, whether or not they have any respect for the dead...

There aren't any earthquakes in it probably. Besides, they probably just delayed it anyway, until the news stations are done with the quake coverage.

Then again, they first delayed the infamous quake episode, until they just canceled it.

I kind of expected it to happen, but it does make the connection from last episode kind of odd, since the characters are shown to be in the helicopter at the end of it. Maybe Team Rocket won't be in that episode?

If the two-parter has new Pokemon on the main characters' parties, then this might cause confusion later on when the new Pokemon suddenly appear. I'm looking at YOU, Cartoon Network and your habits of delaying the Ranger episodes til later.

I had a feeling this would happen but, doesn't make it any less disappointing.

But aye, I hope they air it too. I'm contemplating if I should not view the Arti episode until the Plasma episodes air or not. You know, watch em in the chronologically correct order.

This must be the first time Japanese episodes have been moved around since the Porygon days. And the banned Whiscash was also meant to have been moved, but that was never aired. The same might happen with these two episodes.

If I'm not mistaken, that episode was only skipped in the dub, due to the trigger-happy safari warden.

However, I've noticed that Rocket Trio's VAs are listed on BW 25's page on TV Tokyo's website, meaning that unless it's a typo we'll be seeing them at some point in that episode. The page doesn't list Sakaki's, Flint's, or Prof. Seger's VAs, however.

Not really surprised. I was looking forward to this, but oh well. There are more important things to worry about over there. It's really bugging me that we haven't seen N yet, though. The story practically revolves around him in the games. -sigh- Maybe he's being saved for a movie or something..

That's a huge shame, but I understand why they wouldn't want to broadcast such wanton destruction after what they've just been through.

Would this mark the first time a first run japanese episode aired out of order? I mean, aside from those winter specials that were preempted after the Porygon incident?

The fact that they decided not to pass these episodes in this time means they must be even more epic!
