I liked the movie art Buizeru and Perappu better. Types are revealed. Manaphy, Tamanta, and Buizeru are all Water. Perappu is Flying. I don't see secondary types, either. Could it be? o.o Lots of our familiar pokemon being seen in Ranger. It looks like Zigzagoon really moves in zigzags. Encounter with Deoxys. o.o

The waves of history swallow everything until we are all spat back out as flotsam, and then we are gone.

Which means, if CoroCoro's giving us the whole picture, we have the Pokémon universe's very first pure Flying-type.Originally Posted by Sceptile726

Certainly interesting. I thought Perappu would be water/flying.

Yes indeed. Somehow I have a feeling this may not be the whole picture. Only because... well, did they give us Latias and Latios' types around the release of their movie? I don't think so... I think we had to wait till the actual release of the games, which was not till about a year later. Until then, they'd just been perceived as Water.Originally Posted by Woopert

I agree about the movie art. Buizeru looks much cuter in that pose, as does Perappu. Though "wings-open" Perappu is just as awesome.Originally Posted by Sceptile726
Concerning the revealed types, I admit, I'm a little shocked. I believed without a doubt, that Manaphy would be of the Water-Psychic type. But this to me, either suggests Nintendo is breaking trends, that is, IF Manaphy is the new Mew, etc, etc. Or Manaphy is not the new Mew, etc, etc. Which begs the question, what IS it then?
And as for the other new Pokemon, their types have proven to be as I predicted, so no surprises there. The fact we now have a pure Flying type is exciting, and I hope is suggestive of good things for Diamond and Pearl.
I'm more excited about the manga showing up in next month's issue more than anything else.
Is there any way to get CoroCoro issues in the US, anyway? Does anyone living in Japan ship them out to customers in the US?

What I'd like to know is...
What is Manaphy doing here?
Could this be some sort of glimpse at Manaphy's special power? Mew is supposedly the first Pokémon and can transform into any of the others, Celebi can travel through time, Jirachi can grant wishes... but we don't know Manaphy's special power yet, right?
I remember seeing somewhere that Manaphy is a "Voyage Pokémon". I wonder if that has something to do with what it's doing to them?
On another note, since when does Ash have blue eyes? Is that a side effect of the power as well, or is it just the artwork? I would guess the latter, but the lines around Ash's eyes appear to be the same color, and the same applies for the ranger...
I think this strikes my interest more than anything else. Mysterious, isn't it?
By reading this, you have given me temporary control of your mind.

I noticed the blue eyes yesterday and was WTFing at it. XD It's probably the effect of Manaphy's attack or simply Ash is going super saiyan now. :P

I think his eyes are just reflecting the light...
Maybe Manaphy can teleport people, or even cooler, change them into Pokemon!
Hmm...super saiyan, maybe the pirate kills Brock, angering Ash!
