Would you read any of the other manga if they were released where you live?

I don't really like Special..At all. I read it though.

I'm really interested in some of the manga.

I would like any, or all, of these to be released:

Zensho.
Golden Boys.
'Pokemon Card.
Battle Frontier.
Pocket Monsters.
Get da ze.

But I don't care. Pokemon is Pokemon. As long as it isn't an ani-manga I'd read it.

Being that Viz has been releasing Pokemon manga, and they've been releasing older manga (the Zelda series, and Adventures, for example) they could release any of these.

I would read any of the manga if they were released here. The only manga they have in English (in North America) is Adventures and DPA! and some movie manga adaptions... It'd be nice to see the other manga released.

They had the Mystery Dungeons ones too..But, yup, that's it.

I think PokeWake would be hard to translate. Not the text, but getting the rights to show card art. Even Singapore didn't get that series.

But I'd love to get more in English! I'd buy them all! ...ok so maybe not Pocket Monsters but hey.

How exactly would it be hard though? I'm a bit confused on it.

Don't they gain the rights since the manga is licensed by Nintendo and they own the cards? Even then, can't they just ask the artists for permission? Though the latter sounds a bit challenging..

But outside Japan, they're opted by a bunch of different companies. Not to mention that copyright law in Japan is a LOT different than it is in other countries.

I'd eagerly buy everything they'd put on the shelves over here. XD Well, anything of substance. Sorry, Pokémon Tales and various ani-manga (among other things).

I have Zensho and its not that great, I mean its okay but it is missing alot of substance...
and I would love them to release Golden Boys, the only problem is that it was never truly finished.
but honestly I'd really like to see a non edited version of Dengeki Pikachu and the Metwo manga, but that seems impossible, considering that pokemon is mainly aimed at children in the states
but hey a man can dream haha

By "non-edited" do you mean like the Japanese original or the Japanese edit? Because the Coro Coro version was edited for the bound release even there.

well japanese edited is what I meant, the edits done in the japanese editions were less obvious you know what I mean?
The american edits were very obvious and poorly done IMO anyway...

but yeah the japanese bound editions is pretty much what I mean

Pokemon Getto da ze and Pocket Monsters (which I really should call "Pokemon" because when it comes to other Pokemon manga, the games, and the show, I call Pocket Monsters "Pokemon"... oh well...), of the list, are the two I'd read the most. The others on the list I'd want to read, though.

Frankly, I'm surprised they didn't snap up Satoshi & Pikachu or that one now that has random adventures of Ash and Dawn that have dick-all to do with the show.

I also want them to release some of the older movie manga, especially the one of the first movie by Toshihiro Ono or te Lucario manga by Shigekatsu Ihara

I love to read manga. Any manga released is manga that i'll read :-D
