Thread: New Black & White 2 manga starts in next month's CoroCoro Comics!

From the CoroCoro Comics that (officially) goes on sale tomorrow:

It's being done by Kanda Satoshi (神田達志), the same guy who did Pokémon BW: The Heroes of Fire and Thunder. The first chapter will be 48 pages and will start in the June issue of CoroCoro Comics.

(I know the image there says it'll start in the May issue, but that *has* to be a typo since the current issue is the May 2012 issue)

Also, here's confirmation that it'll be a new monthly series instead of just a one-shot.

The June 2012 issue of CoroCoro Comics goes on sale May 15th.

So we might possibly get a taste of the BW2 storyline before it comes out.

An adaptation before Pokespe? Buck yeah. The protagonist has a weird marking on his cheek. His design reminds me of Jou.

I'm still waiting for Ihara to make a G5 manga though.

I'm more interested to see if Anakubo will do a Pocket Monsters adaption of BW2, but I guess it'll be obvious that he will one day.

Does this manga take place in the same continuity as the first?

Anyway, I think the protagonist looks better in those clothes then in Black's clothes. I wonder why Cheren isn't in his BW2 design; maybe that's a flashback.
