On the subject of the characters Gramps and Tamarind from the bonus chapters of MPJ vol 7...who and what are they? D:

Just characters who only appear in that chapter. Gramps is a Quagsire, and Tamarind is the trainer of Gramps's lost love. Gramps's trainer is named Carob.

Is Tamarind dead, too?

No, all the characters except Mandy in that chapter are alive.

The only 'dead human' to show up in the series is Sandy.

Then what are the genders of Tamarind and Carob?

I'm getting conflicting information.

Carob is a boy, and Quagsire's trainer. Tamarind is a girl.

Does anyone have the Chuang Yi translation of Magical Pokémon Journey volume ten? If so, does Caraway's name change at all? We only have his Japanese name on the 'pedia.
