Thread: Crystal in the HGSS arc

So recently, it has been confirmed that Crystal aka 'Crys' has finally appeared in a round of the HGSS arc. Within that chapter, it has been confirmed that there will be no Lyra in the arc as Crystal is in fact in Lyra's clothing.

Anyways, I personally saw this coming since they did put Green (Blue) into Leaf's clothing. So what are your opinions on this turn?

I trust this to be accurate, but where did this tidbit of news come from? I missed it.

Anyways, I'm fine with it. Throwing Lyra in would most likely have ended with Kris being written out. And no one wants that.

Well perosnally I think that Green is based off of that unused girl trainer, and I also think Leaf is based that unused girl trainer. so Leaf and Green I believe to be one and the same.
as for the whole Kotome and Crystal thing, I find it odd but if I were writing the manga, I would have probably done the same thing...

She honestly looks goofier then I imagined. Kris fits perfectly in Lyra's clothing. She is her redesigned and given a name after all But Crys?
...Cute, nevertheless. She looks better then Silver. Seriously, did they even change his hair? All I've seen is it's combed and he has that small hair poking out.

The 90-degree bent ponytails looks weird to me. xP Is there colored hair showing it to be a dark brown or the dark blueish color yet? I've seen a mix of straight up Kotone's color and the dark blue on Pixiv fanarts.

Though, this does make me think to find a cute pair of star earrings (or whatever shape those are supposed to be now) to include in my Kotone cosplay. x3

Crys looks really pretty in Lyra's clothes, but why does her earrings look like weird shaped blobs?

Anyways I've been calling for this outcome ever since the Crys vs. "Soul"/Lyra debate broke out last year.

Thank goodness we won't have a confusing HGSS Arc.

She was always like that. It's just more apparent without the jacket.

Woops, I guess I thought that wouldn't confuse someone ^^;.

But Crys in Lyra's clothes is a bit awkward but I'll live they look pretty good on her.

Not always, she's grown throughout the series.
How old is she now, anyway? 17?

And meh, I never liked Kotone's outfit, and putting them on Chris doesn't help matters any.

Yeah, I saw this coming too... but I'll have to agree that it looks rather terrible.

Personally, I think it looks fine. Sure I liked her old outfit, but this doesn't make her look bad.

Maybe it's just her expression that makes it look off.
