After seeing your posts when i was looking at other threads i decided to check out my first ever pokemon fan fic. I LOVE IT! when will the next chapter happen?

Chapter Four:Fierce Double Battle! Gary VS. Duncan!

Gary and Duncan faced each other. Gary swallowed hard. His first battle with Duncan. He hoped he'd win. The two combatants had agreed that their starters could not be used. Duncan prepped his Poke Balls and threw them. "Go, Machop! You too, Sandshrew!" he yelled.

"Maaaaaaamaachop!"

"Shreeeeeeeeeeeeeew!!"

Gary tossed out his two Pokemon. "Paras, Spearow, I choose YOU!"

"Paaaarararas!"

"Speeeeeeeeeeeeer!"

The battle began. Duncan commanded Sandshrew to use Swift on Spearow. Sandshrew curled into and ball and started to glow. It spun around, sending glowing stars towards Spearow. Gary panicked for a second, thinking of his next command.

"Spearow, fly up as high as you can," he shouted out to his Pokemon. Spearow cawed and with strong flaps of his wings, soared into the sky, the glowing stars barely passing beneath him as he climbed.

Sandshrew was the first to fall. Duncan foolishly ordered it to use Earthquake on Spearow, which had no effect. Spearow responded with a Mirror Move, copying Sandshrew's attack and sending it back as a super-effective Earthquake. Machop soon took Spearow out with its Karate Chop technique, magnified by Focus Energy.

"Paras, again! Bullet Seed!" the words flowed from Gary's lips roughly, as a drill sergeant would do. Paras was tiring, there was no doubt about that. But only one seed struck Machop's hide. Machop, directed by Duncan, launched another Karate Chop that struck. Suddenly, Paras began to glow... then stopped. It released a maelstrom of spores from the mushrooms on its back, putting Machop to sleep. Paras had learned Spore.

Just then, a net swooped down and captured all four Pokemon on the battlefield, including Sandshrew and Spearow, who had been resting on the field. The net was held by a large hot air balloon driven by two figures that Gary couldn't quite make out.

"Who are you?!?" Duncan demanded.

A soothing female voice echoed off the balloon: "Prepare for trouble..."

This voice was followed by another, this time male: "And make it double..."

Chapter 5: Viridian Forest 3/4: Who is Team Rocket??

"Prepare for trouble..." called a female voice from the balloon hovering above Gary and his friends. The balloon held a net that contained four Pokemon stolen from Gary and his rival, Duncan. Gary realized that he recognized the Pokemon the balloon was in the shape of: Sneasel.

"And make it double!" a male voice added.

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To destroy the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

At this point, the figures became visible, and Gary could see that they were a boy, a girl and a Sneasel, the same Pokemon as the balloon's shape. They both wore black uniforms with a bright red "R" on the chest.

"Billy!" cried the boy.

"Kit!" the girl responded.

"Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"

"Sneeee-sel! That's right!"

Gary was surprised to hear the Sneasel talk, but was more concerned with getting his Pokemon back. He looked at Duncan, and they both had the same idea. They released their starters. Duncan had chosen Charmander as his starter, and the tiny lizard looked fierce as the flame on its tail flickered and crackled.

"You boys handle getting the Pokemon back! I've got the balloon!" Gary turned to see Leaf holding two Poke Balls, one in each hand. She tossed them. "Tropius, Growlithe, pop that sucker!" she commanded. A large reptillian creature with a long neck appeared, as did a small, red puppy with tiger-like stripes arcing around its body.

"Tropiuuuuuus!"

"Growl! Growl!"

Gary and duncan set to work. It wasn't hard. By combining Charmander's ember with Bulbasaur's Razor Leaf, they managed to send what resembled flaming darts through the net, freeing the Pokemon. Meanwhile, Leaf sent Tropius on a rampage, using its Magical Leaf to cut several holes in the balloon, using the same strategy as Gary and Duncan- combining Growlithe's Fire attacks with the Grass techniques of Tropius. Team Rocket, surprised by the suddenness of the attack, screamed as their balloon whizzed away: "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off agaaaaaaaaaain!"

A few minutes later, Gary and Duncan said their goodbyes. Duncan was leaving to try and battle Viridian's Gym, he said. Gary and his friends continued on to Pewter City, where Gary's first badge awaited.
