A black and white world
But You (Digimon fic)
(come on, you should know who this is about by now. Do I write Digi-fic about anyone but Oikawa?)
I was always told never to show emotions like that. That if I had to cry, I was to do it in the quiet of my room and emerge as calm and even as anyone else. Never to show how unhappy I was.
But you let me cry against your chest.
I always walked with my head down because experience told me that no one wanted to make eye contact with the 'weird kid' even by accident.
But you would walk with your arm around my shoulder.
I was made to believe that the world I dreamed of was an illusion, just the product of my diseased mind.
But you could see it too.
I heard nothing from people but that I was wasting my life on such things, and to go into something respectable.
But you said that lives are nothing without dreams.
I almost gave up on everything around me, everything that made me who I was.
But you told me you liked me the way I was.
I want to show you this world that I've found, the world we dreamed of together.
But now you cannot see it.

Should be writing
My only reaction can be ;_;
Then again, this is Oikawa we speak of, so it's only natural to feel sorrow. A good fic.

A black and white world
Why thank you.
Hey, the challenge word was "Anguish", so of course the big problem was narrowing down exactly what aspect of him to write about...

Like the Memory of a Kiss
Should I even question that this isn't even half a page? I don't know. It just feels so forced because it's so short, almost like you had a one-sentence thought and used a meat tenderizer to mash it thinner so it'd stretch farther. Though, I suppose stream-of-consciousness fics leave something to be desired in the substance department. I mean, it does have its depth and emotion; but, depth is nothing without substance. I suppose it's just that I've read your better Oikawa-Yukio fics and I'm having one of those comparative, judgmental moments that knows you could've done better than a fourteen-sentence blurb. I'm sorry if this comes off as particularly demeaning or flamish, but I honestly know that you could do better...!

A black and white world
I know. I had fifteen minutes and a splitting headache.
