Grippet are based off these small green moths that I always see around gardens... I actually have no idea what they are called. Their appearance is like triangular leaves and fly around in small hops. Grippet commonly fly short distances and eat in swarms. Their leaf-like wings have a healing agent that are a useful ingredient for potions. Some Pokemon hunt Grippet for their wings. Grippet enjoy basking in the sun as the rays give them energy.

The basis of Discamo and Grippet is camouflaging and draining life, which would be interesting at such an early point in the game. One of my friends found that the battles at the beginning were incredibly boring due to the lack of real strategy involved. This Pokemon is found early in the game, well, as early as Route 2. Like how Corro is based on teaching and helping younger players in the early game, Grippet and Discamo are my attempts to bring a bigger strategy to the early game. There were a lot of moves I would've like to have given Discamo, but I always liked how the first generation had smaller move pools. It seemed like the Pokemon only learned what they needed to, and I want to give a larger variety of in game move sets in your team.
