And we're back! Now entering the Generations past 1 and their completely non-sensical ordering!

#152 - Chikorita

When I first saw Chikorita, back when I was a litlte kid, I immediately fell in love with it. There were probably only two things stopping me from going full-on Chikorlover: another board's massive furry hating which I saw and agreed with (and still do to this day), and...the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. Yes, the Forest Temple. I had rented the game, finally reached it, and even though my brother told me the episode with Ash catching Chikorita was on, I was too absorbed in the epicness of the Forest Temple to give a shit.

Nowadays? I wonder just what in the hell Chikorita is supposed to be (Come on Origin of the Species guy! Stop messing around with obvious crap like angler fish Lanturn and give me something obscure like this!), and question what the hell I was on to even like it in the first place. Seems like that's happened a lot with me.

#153 - Bayleef

The GSC starters suck. Seriously. They're so bland. Bayleef is pretty cool and is the fourth best of the lines, though: it's got that banana yellow going on, and that half-leaf is pretty bitchin'. Always was confused with its Pokedex entry though. Sniffing it makes you want to fight? Wha-!?

#154 - Meganium

McGaynium loses that awesome yellow coloring, gets an ugly flower neck ring, and dumb antennae. I resisted the urge to make it intentionally retarded, but it still kinda does look like that.

#155 - Cyndaquil

I went with its classic colors. At least, I think they're its classic colors. Also, I messed up a differently colored bottom half yet again.

#156 - Quilava

Went with the blue color here, because blue, blue.

#157 - Typhlosion

Same story with Cyndaquil's evo line: the first and second are okay, but the third just looks dumb as hell. That coupled with another board's obsession with "[getting] typhy" has made me develop an irrational dislike for this thing, as if you couldn't already tell from how ridiculous it looks.

#158 - Totodile

Here we are. Anyone who thinks this is not the best starter of GSC is either a fire-fucker or a grass-groper in this incompetent artist's opinion.

#159 - Croconaw

I only remembered the bottom half (vaguely, but better than usual) because someone described it as "[having] a diaper". And while I was sure to flame and troll the hell out of the guy for disrepecting the awesomeness that is the Totodile line, the comment did help with my remembering it! Kind of. >_> Still looks better than when I usually try to pull this shit off! Shut up!

#160 - Feraligatr

Still don't know why I can never get bottom halfs right, no matter what they are or what I do. Guess my memory sucks in regards to those or some shit. Also, I somehow forgot the tails on all these. What the fuck how.

Chikorita is just supposed to be a leaf.
That is why it is called the leaf pokemon.

It took 6 years for the johto starters to grow on me. And I only stand cynda,bayleff,quilava and totodile´s line.

I've always loved gen II Pokes with all of my girly little heart, but these still made me giggle.
