Ah. Well, I'm afraid those starters may not be coming for awhile. I still have yet to come up with three ideas. I only have one so far. xP

Well hey, that's a start! And plus, you've been amazing at everything you've showed so far, so I'm excited for anything you're going to show off next :D!
Very true! And thanks. :3

Of course! I don't give out fake compliments :). I really, really like your work. I wish I could draw like that :/. Question, how did you draw the trainer of yourself, and Regasus? I don't mean the sprites, I mean the actual drawings. I can draw (not well currently, if you don't use it you lose it :P. Need to get some practice in XD), but not like that.
Thanks! To be honest, I'm not really sure how to answer that. xP
I can say, though, that drawing well takes a lot of practice and patience. You just gotta practice and keep at it.

What I meant was, did you draw those on paper or in Paint? Either way I couldn't do it :P. At least not as well as you could. God gave you a wonderful gift, never stop using it :).
Ohhh. Only the sprites were done in Paint. The actual drawings, I normally sketch first, then I scan it and open it in Photoshop so I can add color. There have been a couple cases where I skipped the sketching stage and went straight to Photoshop though.

That's a very professional way of doing it :). When I draw I draw with a pencil, then trace over it with a pen XD. But your's look amazing :). Honestly, they look AMAZING!
EDIT: Oh, and I got my sprites to look like just sprites. They still have the white background (because it was so difficult to erase it.. I spent 30 minutes on one, and the background still showed up D:), because I didn't know what you meant by magic wand tool. I figured I'd just use the background eraser button, but that took awhile. At least they're tiny now :D!
Ah, thanks. :3
And good job getting them to be the right size!

Thanks :D! Now they look like this:
At least they're tiny :). I can live with the white background.
Ah, great! :]
Yay for starter Pokemon designs!
Since I put this on my DA as well, I'll just quote the info right here:
So, I decided to design some starter Pokemon to go with my legendary Pokemon, Regasus.
The grass type is Tawnog and it's based off of a groundhog. Its name comes from "groundhog" and "Punxutawny Phil" (the name of the groundhog for Groundhog Day in Pennsylvania). I chose a groundhog because the region I have in mind is based off of my home city of Pittsburgh, PA. Tawnog evolves into a grass/normal type (would've chosen grass/ground, except we already got one of those for a starter in gen 4).
The fire type is Kinder, the fire goat. Its name is actually a double play. It's a combination of "cinder" and "kid" (a baby goat) and the word kinder itself is German for kid/child. I chose a goat because, well, I like goats and I think they'd look badass with fire. Kinder evolves into a fire/psychic type (with its final evo being based on a ram).
The water type is Hippa, a water hippo. Its name is basically a corruption of hippo, but could also be a combination of "hippo" and "aqua." I decided on a hippo because it makes sense. xP Anyway, Hippa starts off quadrupedal, but it evolves into a bipedal water/fighting type.
Lastly, the names of the starter evolutions:
Tawnog -> Hograss -> Punxaton
Kinder -> Ignihorn -> Flaries
Hippa -> Drippotta -> Hydrotamus
This is my first attempt at designing starters, so I hope I did alright. xP

Really cute :3! I'd love to see their other evolutions!
Thanks! (though I kinda wish more people than just you would comment in here... xP). Unfortunately, I have yet to draw their evolutions. I'd like to make sprites of the starters first.
No more comments? I just finished spriting these starters! Shiny forms included. :3
