Hello! I'm new here, but I'm also a long time artist so I figured I'd share some of my work with you fine people here! Some of these are pretty old though.

Wow, these are really good! Are there any more like this or are you planning on doing more?

What do you use to make them?

Are there bigger versions you could share - it's a little hard to see these ones.

These are cool. Usually I don't really like the hyper-realistic look, but you pulled it off very effectively.

May I ask what those things tied to Arceus's head and ring are?

thanks! the deino was done in photoshop cs5, the others are older and done in cs4; all with a intuos3 tablet. i do plan on doing more, eventually i wanna do all 649 cuz pokemon are one of my favorite things to draw. the full size versions of these and more can be found on my deviantart: CapnShortstack on deviantART

i'm glad you like them! i tried to go with an ancient indian tribal look to arceus so it's just some string and beads and stuff with some bones and stuff, he's also got the splash plate tied down there, so that's what that blue thing is. i took quite a bit of artistic license with that one xp

These generally only take me a few hours, though i remember the lucario one being pretty tedious since i decided to draw every fur on its body for some reason haha. so that one took me a few days. i've always used wacom intuos tablets, i started with a 2 and moved up to a 3 after that one died on me. i'm loving my 3 but i recently had to replace it because of a tea accident >.> but i just got the same one again. i'd love to get a 5 or even a cintiq but i don't have that kind of dough haha.

no problem! you can find the older ones pretty cheap too. i've heard decent things about wacom's bamboo tablets too, but i've always preferred the intuos. i think it's just a matter of taste. that being said, i don't think i'd ever use a tablet that wasn't a wacom. they're simply the best.
