Fractal Fantasies of the Ragnarok

Q&As:
What is a fractal?
"Fractals are typically self-similar patterns, where self-similar means they are "the same from near as from far". Fractals may be exactly the same at every scale, or they may be nearly the same at different scales."
-- taken from Wikipedia
Where do you make fractals?
I usually make fractals at Apophysis 7x.
What is Apophysis 7x?
It's a program used to create fractals. There are loads of variables there that could use some input from the user. As you input numbers at the variables, the program would generate those numbers and form the patterns that would eventually come out as fractals.
Your works don't seem to look self-similar.
That's because most of my works are seen in a three-dimensional view, hence some of the self-similar patterns would not show obviously to the naked eye. But if you would examine the fractals a bit more, you would notice that they revolve around a certain pattern that makes them a fractal.
Can I comment on your works?
BY ALL MEANS, YES! I'd love some criticism, may it be good or bad. Everyone needs to improve at some point, right?
Can I use them for commercial or other uses?
Of course you can! BUT, you need to show me here the ACTUAL LINK where you used the fractal, so I could be aware of your commercial purposes. And of course you need to give proper credit. :)

Let's get funky!
Re: Fractal Fantasies of the Ragnarok
These are really cool! They look like they're close ups of actual living things, like plants etc.
It's amazing that you can make things that look so beautiful while adhering to the strict guidelines of self similarity!

beautiful! i've always loved fractal art but i wouldn't even know where to begin with making my own. doesn't it involve a lot of math?

I like making fractals, too! But I make them by hand, so they're not terribly exact. But they do still look nice!
