A topic you say? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
What is your favourite program?:
Photoshop. Nuff said.
I wonder why I got double mentions for one post :x
Anyway, Sai would probably take it, although Photoshop is also good.
Photoshop > GIMP. Seriously.
After getting used to SAI, I just can't use Photoshop for anything other than graphics anymore... it just doesn't cut it. I've gotten too obsessed with SAI's clean lines, lol \o/
Sai makes lineart like no other. Very clean and pressure-sensitive lines.
I'm still switching between programs until I find the "right" brush settings. WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN.
It took me ages to get used to SAI's brushes... at first I hated the damn thing but kept giving it another chance so it grew on me later down the road XD;; And boy, was it worth it lol. It's a good replacement for Open Canvas 3.05, which I no longer have on this laptop.
although a tutorial here and there doesn't hurt :P
I've tried Open Canvas, and Sai definitely wins for a nicer, more user-friendly interface. Sai is probably the better one in painting, too.
