    You notified staff as well?
Bashir: I can't believe you're not pressing charges.
Garak: Constable Odo and Captain Sisko expressed a similar concern, but really, Doctor, there was no harm done.
Bashir: They broke seven of your transverse ribs and fractured your clavicle.
Garak: Ah, but I got off several cutting remarks which no doubt did serious damage to their egos.
    Bashir: Garak, this isn't funny.
Garak: I'm serious, Doctor! Thanks to your ministrations I'm almost completely healed, but the damage I did to them will last a lifetime.

    Don't let the nightclub DIIEEEEE!!!!

Hi guys! I think that BMG needs a little more love(so people post in the Nightclub more often), so, I shall ask a question!

From a battling(trainer battle) perspective, what "role" does each of your Pokemon do(feel free not to list them all, I'm not gonna because of time restraints):

Marche, my Graveler, is definitely my physical Pokemon. Magnitude, Stone Edge, Hammer Arm, Thunderpunch, he can cover a wide range of types and keep opponents on their toes. Not to mention being an evolved Pokemon is nice.

Lemon Drop, my Lopunny, is like my Expert Belt Pokemon. With Work Up and an SE movepool that would make Electrivire jealous, she can easily defeat a lot of Pokemon. Mirror Coat and Magic Coat also good moves to use when the time is right.

Surgei, my Yanmega, is my "Staller." SB + DT is deadly when played right, and when combined with Giga Drain, it can be impossible to take him dow. Signal Beam and HP Ground give him some more neutral coverage and allow Yanmega to get past some troublesome Pokemon.

Hades, my Shuppet, is more like an assassin. Shadow Sneak, Will-O-Wisp, Curse, his is built for taking out Pokemon that are weakened very quickly. He is also a good partner in a double battle for piling on damage with Lemon Drop.

Static, my Rotom, is an annoyer and momentum stealer with Volt Switch. He may also end up being my spin-blocker.

Millenium sets up hazards. And is just awesome in general.

Most of my team is built around speed and high attack/special attack power. It's not really balanced as well as a well rounded team should be, but it fits my style quite well. Here are how my Level 100 pokemon break down.

Typhlosion: He is pretty much a fast specialty sweeper. His Fire type attacks are his bread and butter. He does have more than a few physical attacks like Earthquake, Double Kick, and Dynamic Punch. The custom FB moves he has are one of the few things that set him apart from an average Typhlosion.

Dakota, my Spearow: Flyer who is a physical attacker. Personality-wise he is definitely a head on attacker. He does have a few trick moves like Faint Attack and Aerial Ace to throw off opponents, but basically, he just goes right at opponents.

Lucy, my Houndour: Lucy is my condition applier who uses annoyance moves like Toxic, Will-o-wisp, Taunt, Embargo, and Spite to put opponents in tough spots before hitting them with stronger moves like Shadow Ball, Fire Blast or Crunch.

Tarka, my Floatzel: Tarka is the epitome of my hit them fast and hard style of battling. His already high speed is increased after using Rain Dance and he hits hard with moves like Surf, Ice Beam, and Crunch.

Arielle, my Luxray: Arielle is a little more of a hit them hard than hit them fast. She still has good speed, but seems a little slow compared to some of the other members of my team. Her power in both attack and special attack compliment her movesets well with Thunderbolt, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, and Night Slash working with both her attack and special attack stats.

Grovyle: Much like the rest of my team Grovyle is a fast and hard hitter. I have recently been working on adding more status affecting moves, but for the most part he goes with Leaf Blade, Energy Ball, and Dragonbreath to beatdown opponents.

    Gar, my Blaziken:
Gar is my fighting specialist with a little extra firepower. Most of his moves are physical with a touch of extra in them. The Elemental punches, and many of the standard fighting attacks are his main focus. Earthquake and Aerial Ace give him a little extra coverage, but for the most part he is a bruiser.

The rest of my team are still growing into their roles and like these will continue to develop over time.

So, Hyrem meets Remilia! The things I do to torture my character...

Anyway, if we're talking about the roles my Pokemon have:

Sera (Kirlia): She's my mage/healer. She has all sorts of special-oriented attacks, plus she has Heal Pulse as a quick-heal spell as well as a ton of buff spells for my party.
Daphne (Nuzleaf): More a rogue than anything. She's really sneaky (has to be in order to be a good prankster), and she has lots of tricky Dark attacks to shut down her opponents.
Sarkhan (Druddigon): The strongest fighter of my squad. He prefers melee combat and has a lot of attacks toward that, though he also has Focus Blast and Firestream in case he can't reach his foe.
Amethyst (Seviper): Definitely my assassin. She'll strike fear in her victims before Giga Draining/Poisoning them to death.
Delilah (Lanturn): I'd say she's another mage-type, though I'd usually have her open with status attacks before moving in with her damage attacks.
Laika (Poochyena): I love to think of him as a ranger. Odor Sleuth to track them down, then Double Team, Sand-attack, and Dig to scout things out.
Seshiro (Male Ekans): Probably going to be part of my clean-up crew in the fact that he'll chase down those that try to retreat.
Leila (Sneasel): Another rogue/assassin, though more of a seductress than anything. She mainly uses Attract to lure in her opponents before stabbing them in the back.
Icarus (Skarmory): His natural tankiness is nice, but he'll be my go-to for aerial combat in general.
Aisa (Venipede): I could see her as a tank (even though as a Scolipede she'll hit even harder than one) and a Toxic staller.
Shisato (Female Ekans): She'll join Seshiro in chasing foes down, though she'll specialize in stealth and ranged combat before trying any melee stuff.
Selina (Purrloin): My thief. She's joining Team Pocket, after all.
Toby (Turtwig): Definitely going to be another tank once he gets more levels. Plus he'll have Earthquake, Wood Hammer, and Leaf Storm once he's stronger.
Michael (Shuppet): I could easily see him as a mage-assassin once he learns Curse.
Amelia (Taillow): I'm going for a Flying-type aerial sweeper with her, though once she learns Tailwind she'll have that as a support spell.
    Lee (Sawk): Fighting-type sweeper.
Brittany (Spheal): She'll certainly be tanky as a Walrein, but she'll have STAB Blizzard and Surf backing her up, so a great all-round Pokemon.
Torchic (Vi): Can she be any more awesome than as a beat-em-up fighter?
Zyra (Bulbasaur): She'll have plenty of roles, though with Leech Seed, Poisonpowder, and Synthesis, she certainly looks like a good staller. Oh, and then I could go the Sun/Solarbeam route...
Conis (Mareep): I like her on support, though most of her purpose is to spam Paralysis and cripple her opponents speed.
Benjamin (Electrike): The mage side of my Electric-type Double Whammy, though he's certainly no slouch in melee.
Manasseh (Horsea): He'll be a well-trusted steed for marine combat since he'll have all sorts of Water attacks at his disposal, though right now he just seems like a Water-type HM slave.
Carla (Espeon): Another mage, just like Sera, though she'll be more focused toward Psychic attacks than Sera is.
Luke (Shinx): The physical fighter side of my Electric-type Double Whammy, though Benji is actually faster.
Charlie (Dunsparce): At this point, he's just going to be a jack-of-all-trades Pokemon that does anything and everything for chocolate.
Ezreal (Trapinch): My Pokemon put opponents in his pit, he'll do the rest.
Brand (Magby): Sets up Sunny Day once he learns it, and then just watches everything burn.
Elise (Spinarak): She'll be specializing in traps, using Spider Web to make sure nothing escapes.

    Flandre (Charmander): Mixed set-up sweeper.

    Orin (Glaceon): Supporter.

    Tia (Gible): Physical fighter.

    Zelkova (Turtwig): Tank.

    Chalcedony (Bagon): Not sure yet.

From a battling(trainer battle) perspective, what "role" does each of your Pokemon do(feel free not to list them all, I'm not gonna because of time restraints):

Gemini (Weezing): They tend to go for more long-range, projectile moves, like Sludge, Psybeam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Blizzard, Shock Wave, things of that sort.

James (Vileplume): All-out attacker, generally, but will use status moves when necessary. Usually Sleep Powder to gain a head start on the attacking.

Nagini (Arbok): You'll see what her battle style is like once her battle against Orchrist is picked up.

Hebenon (Qwilfish): Jack-of-all-trades. And I do mean ALL trades.

Hedwig (Crobat): Mixed attacker. Favors physical moves like Crossfire and Cross Poison, but will not turn down a chance to show off the fact that she knows Thunder.

Lily (Venomoth): Like James, she cripples the opponent with status before going into all-out attack mode.

Sirius (Mightyena): Sets up with Howl, then sweeps with physical moves. If Poison Fang manages to poison, he'll go for Venoshock.

Malfoy (Toxicroak): Mixed attacker, though leans heavily on the physical side of things. In a double battle, he can also heal up his teammate with Heal Pulse.

Goyle (Victreebel): I've yet to RP him using any attacks, period, let alone figure out a battle style for him.

Marvolo (Seviper): Mixed attacker. Prefers to immobilize and subdue a foe with Wrap whenever possible.

Pomona (Ivysaur): Annoyer. Greatly prefers status moves, though does pack some select attack moves for when the time is right. Notably takes advantage of moves that capitalize on her cuteness (Charm, Captivate, and Attract), and also makes use of the PoisonPowder/Venoshock combination.

Peeves (Dusclops): Leaning more and more towards physical attacker, a nod to his previous life as a Machop. Favors punching moves in particular.

Salazar (Scolipede): No preferred battle style yet, he basically just does what works best for each situation.

Crabbe (Gulpin): No preferred battle style yet, he'd just cripple opponents with Yawn, then launch his attacks.

Scorpius (Skorupi): Mixed attacker, though leans heavily on the physical side. Packs Flamethrower as a trump card, and prefers to use Night Slash to try and take advantage of Sniper.

Myrtle (Shuppet): All-out attacker. She's not particularly one for status moves. Then again, she doesn't know many status moves at the moment.

Luna (Swoobat): No real preferred battle style, though she is fond of helping out allies in double battles with her Helping Hand move.

    Strychnine (Grimer): Attacking tank.

Meowth: No actual battle style yet.

Bellatrix (Skuntank): Haven't worked out a battle style for her just yet.

Aragog (Ariados): Prefers to subdue opponents first, with moves like String Shot, then goes all-out with the attacking.

Severus (Dustox): No preferred battle style.

Hermione (Weedle): To make up for her horribly limited movepool, she improvises wherever possible. Particularly fond of combining moves in clever ways. IE: Gummi Bomb, followed by Electroweb to make the Gummi Bomb harder to remove.

Six (Foongus): Prefers to make use of move combinations, such as Defense Curl/Rollout and PoisonPowder/Venoshock.

    Pisces (Blue-Striped Basculin): All-out attacker.

Helena (Shuppet): Haven't worked out a battle style for her yet.

Rubeus (Stunfisk): Once he learns more moves I'll think of something.

    Millicent (Timburr): Same as Rubeus.

Cyanide (Umbreon): Annoyer- fond of status moves, particularly Toxic.

    Ginny (Pawniard): Physical attacker.

Chuck (Gastly): Haven't worked out a battle style for him yet.

Helga (Makuhita): She does whatever works in a given situation.

Melittin (Beedrill): Tank. Uses various attacking moves, but defends himself with stuff like Harden and Reflect.

Hannah (Qwilfish): I'll work on that once she's got more moves to work with.

Chance (Wartortle): Mixed attacker, though leaning heavily towards the special side of things.

Vernon (Tauros): Will be a mixed attacker, once he gets more moves.

Fang (Carnivine): Will work that out once he gets more moves.

    For my 4 Pokémon:

Rose (Ralts): Supporter, she has some nice status and support moves already (o.a. Toxic and Helping Hand) and I will only build on that, and she packs a nice Special punch too is needed.

Sir Haykhong (Slugma): I have no idea yet...

Behemoth (Steelix): Physical Tank, no explanation needed I think :)

Lalu (Roggenrola): Bit of a mix in offence/defense, but it needs more moves really before it can have a real function.

Fun fact: I joined BMGf before SPPf and waaaaaaaaaay before UPN. Funny how things work out.

Also I should probably get ideas for a sig over here, since all my current ones pertain to ASB, which I imagine is frowned upon over here. Might ask for one of my current FB squad.

Also lol Jeri your sig link is broken.

Hey Dave I read you mentioning you were thinking of going to the FFAZ; I'm currently updating Green Zubat there if you want an adventure.

And by currently I mean I will write an update sometime today for him ^^.

Also Dave your signatures are broken.

It's always dead here because there are like, three "vet" BMG homeboarders, including myself, and I think four newbies, and all of those people just go to the other boards to talk.

    >Dave

...do the ASB anyway and link to SPPf ASB. It's called advertising and ASB needs it. =P Not like people don't advertise other stupider stuff in their sigs on forums all the time.
