they actually lasted longer, except for Bulbasaur. Both Squirtle and Charizard were gone from the main team in less then 140 episodes.

Yeah, which is surprising. The Kanto team actually wasn't there as long as we thought. I guess it feels like they were around longer because they came back in late Johto and again in the Battle Frontier arc.

His Sinnoh team is probably going to be in more episodes overall than all the others once DP finally ends.

i guess it depends on which sinnoh pokemon u r talking about. Staraptor has been here for over 160 episodes if i am not wrong. Buizel on the other hand was caught in the 35th episode by dawn and then traded to ash 20 or so episodes later, so it depends on how u count it. Infernape has been with ash for what, 120 episodes, or are we supposed to count it ever since we saw it with Paul?

Well according to the new ep info Grotle will be evolving in the Sunyshore Gym arc.

That means that aside from Dawn's Togekiss, all the spoilers from the opening have been accounted for. I think that means that right after Dawn gets Togekiss, we're free to speculate more evo's for the main characters again.

I really, really want to see Buizel evolve right before the league begins. I feel like the writers should pull a fast one and pretend they're not evolving Buizel, and then all of a sudden it evolves out of nowhere.

why buizel doesn't need an evo dude its already as strong as it is especially now that it knows ice punch

Actually snorunt evolved as soon as it learned perfected ice beam so maybe it'll evolve after it perfects it instead besides Ash will probably get board with the grand festival like what happenned with May.

I don't see buizel evolving at all. Gible should stay a Gible IMO, but I could see it evolving during the League, but not before.

I don't know why, but I feel a surprise evolution at the League from either Gible, Cyndaquil or Totodile.

Why should Buizel not evolve? Buizel has gotten boring since the last half of DP.

Marketability. Duh.

Plus how would evolving make Buizel less boring ? He just learned a new move, so learning another one is pretty much out of the equation. It's not like he has huge rivalries or anything... Instead of a cute but (in you words not mine) boring Buizel, we'd have an ugly boring Floatzel.

It'll get one or two good battles in the League and will be used once or twice before, stay a buizel and be oak'd.
