Pokémon Evolution/Capture/Release Thread

March 2013 anime calendar. I posted this here due to the slight possibility that any one of these pokemon may be captured or released by major characters in the future.

Magnemite/Magnezone: A Magnemite was seen owned by a Team Plasma grunt in BW112, and Colress owns the Magnemite line in the games. Chances are that Magnemite and Magnezone will be used by Team Plasma in a future episode.

Gardevoir/Gothitelle: A Gardevoir and a Gothitelle appeared in the latest BW anime ending as two of the pokemon N befriended. Maybe there will be an episode in which N returns back to his castle?

Swadloon, Whirlipede, and Maractus: Wild pokemon or controlled by Team Plasma.

Emolga: The Emolga either belongs to Iris, or to a COTD. Hopefully the writers have Iris's Emolga learn a new move.

Haxorus: We know that Iris's Axew will remain unevolved until at least July, so chances are that it is either a COTD pokemon or a pokemon controlled by Team Plasma.

What is the Magnezone doing now because it is one of my favorites.

I wonder if Ash will catch a new "Aipom", a random last-minute capture than ends up getting a Gen VI Evolution?

Why Would that happen. Where does an Aipom even come from although that would be good.

Ash caught Aipom last minute in Gen III out of nowhere, as it had an evolution in Gen IV.

I didn't literally mean Aipom.

In both odd-numbered generations characters have caught Pokemon near the end of the regional journey that they would end up bringing with them to the new region, and which would turn out to evolve into Pokemon from the upcoming Generation. In Gen I Shigeru caught an Eievui and Kasumi caught a Nyoromo, both extremely late in the Orange Archipelago saga, and both brought them to Jouto. And at the end of AG, aside from Satoshi catching Eipam, there was also the case of Takeshi catching Usohachi. (Even Haruka catching Eievui could technically qualify in this regard, as she did bring it to Shin'ou, and as that was the very reason the writers gave it to her in the first place)

Since Iris and Dent are fairly unlikely to come with Satoshi to the Gen 6 region--although it's possible that Dent could--Satoshi is the only real viable candidate for being given a Pokemon which will evolve into a new evolution; thus it is extremely likely that he will indeed catch a 'new Eipam'.

I doubt we will ever see him again, but I think the Eevee in the Movie Short will somehow evolve into it.

Maybe it could happen that the Eevee will Evolve during the Short or it just shows up out of nowhere.

So yeah, the Sableye in the movie poster. I'm hoping it's Cilan's, since he's due a capture. But I noticed that Ash has only 5 Pokemon in the poster (Pikachu, the starters and Charizard), and it's closer to him.

I'd be uber pissed if it was just some random movie Pokemon, though.

So yeah, the Sableye in the movie poster. I'm hoping it's Cilan's, since he's due a capture. But I noticed that Ash has only 5 Pokemon in the poster (Pikachu, the starters and Charizard), and it's closer to him.

That's my reasoning for suspecting that it belongs to Ash, although I'd rather that it belong to Cilan since Ash should focus on his old Pokémon after Episode N. I doubt that Sableye would be shown with the cast's Pokémon if it were a random character.

Maybe Sableye gets a Gen VI evolution (not something I'm particularly fond of myself) and becomes the new 'Aipom'

Sableye is a pretty cool Pokémon, and I really hope it belongs to Cilan as well!

I'm sure we can count out Iris though as she stand pretty away from it, but I'll have to take a guess that it belongs to Cilan, and not Ash. Seeing how it stands slightly in the background, it'd make more sense if it was Cilan's, not to mention that he only would have Pansage out if it didn't belong to him. But, I guess it can be Ash's too, as it does stand closer to Ash, but I dunno. As AlphaMouse mentioned, it could become the new Aipom by getting a Gen VI evolution.

I don't see the Sableye belonging to Iris or Cilan because it wasn't seen in the recent ending. If anything, I can only see it belonging to Ash because his full team of six can easily be rotated.
